Great Price, Great Product
Works great, it's very green. It really helps for daylight acquisition. Keep in mind that this is not tritium, it charges based on the amount of light that is put on it. If you wake up in the middle of the night you will be able to make out the sights just well enough for the first shot, passed that you will likely have too much light blindness, but at that point you probably wouldn't be using the sights anyway. The sun does the best job charging it, if you are going from outside in the sun to an interior area it lights up quite well. When the sights are at full blast it is really easy to pick them up and fire on your target. Even at their dimmest in a daylight situation the green is easier to pick up than the standard white dots because your eyes are more naturally drawn to the color green. If you paint them on well enough, I recommend dropping them on with a tooth pick of some sort, then they will not cause your front post to disappear.Just make sure to apply a small dot to your front post, don't coat it or else you will lose it in certain situations. The more you apply, the more light it will transmit, but you want to be careful to put it into the recessed hole on white dot sights otherwise you may knock it off when drawing from a holster so don't put on too much.

Amazing product buy now for gun sights
Visibility is great after a flashlight blast. Still visible in the dark on its own but not as great. In the picture is the original paint on my 1911 on the left and on the right is my ruger security 9 with HI VIZ $100 night sights on the back and the green paint color on the front sight. Nearly no difference (this is after flashlight blast for 1 second with iPhone which HI VIZ sights don’t need bust still) Original paint is the best. Green is still pretty good but not as bright without a flashlight blast. I’d recommend doing on gun sights with dot iron sights that divot down so it’s easy to drop in a speck. Get fine detail brushed for like $8 to make it super easy. It washes off with water or rubbing it after a second or 2 but when dry for a while is permanent as the top of container. Doing this on all my guns without night sights right away. Too easy

HERE'S MY "GLOWING REVIEW!"
Only reason this is not a 5-Star is the issue of trusting the product to stay on the metallic or plastic material of the sight. This product is likely NOT for one's "Duty Gun" used for defense, but a very reasonable substitute while saving up for a new set of tritium night-sights! I would still prefer Tritium Night sights, (especially the new Tru-Glo models that are purported to optimize day, dark night as well as dawn and twilight...don't know if they'll do your household dishes and floors also! (LOL)), but at $140.00 at Amazon, plus gunsmith install, etc, (like sighting-in) makes Glow-On very attractive for a multi-gun owner...the back-up weapons could be rigged for Dark-Duty!It seems more and more "defense-sensible" to deploy your defense firearms in at least one other location in your home, depending on floorplan, etc, and painting up more than one set of sights in certainly cheaper! As an old guy getting older, one advantage of the multiple nightly trips up from bed to the john (God Bless the Human Prostate!) is that I can take the time up to "Blast" my Glow-On-treated sights with my LED flashlight for 8-10 seconds (40 Lumen light, but have ordered stronger (160 L at Amazon), anticipate shorten recharge times), and I have fully-functioning "Night sights" for another 3-4 hours. In pitch darkness, the glow lasts longer, but the usual nightlight low level stuff around the house detracts from the Glow-On effect, hence it is better to recharge a bit more often. Also, consider that you may not have time to find and put on your glasses, etc, in a Real Home Invasion Emergency. Hence, you'll need Every Spare Second for "The Good Guy's" Side!Only problems with Glow-On so far the product sticking on the very small sights of my back-up 380 PPK-Style FEG...not enough surface area. Still worth the effort, but I wish there were a "glue-on" adapter housing to fit various sight shapes, to transform somebody's antiquated ideas of sight size from the 70's and earlier! (Perhaps a Business Product Idea for someone out there?)Other (Intuitively Obvious) problem is the shotgun bead sight, re.the shape as well as possible loss due to recoil. But problem could be solved for less that $30.00 for a tritium screw-in bead (the cheaper ones have a much lower rating on Amazon.)...am just waiting my budget re. being able to get a 20 GA to replace my 12, pending proof that recoil really is significantly lower, given new advances in ammo, etc. 20 GA is as low as I feel safe in going re. a defense shotgun...although it seems like an unexplored area for the 28 GA...only bird shot and very Pricey SGs out there currently. The 410 is, In my opinion, a very last resort if my eyesight and arthritis gets very much worse!ALSO, TRY GLOW-ON USE ON (NON-FRONTALLY-VISIBLE) PLACES ON PISTOL AND MAGAZINE AS A VISIBLE GUIDE FOR RELOADING IN THE DARK.) Admittedly, it is FAR BETTER to train up to skill level of being able to do almost everything on every defensive firearm that you intend to use of "EXPERT WHILE BLINDFOLDED"!Overall, Very pleased with "Glow-On"... WELLWORTH THE SMALL PRICE. And Yes, fun to fool around with!
