When I hit the buy now button my concern was whether I’d find it annoying to refresh the water every 2-3 days, but it hasn’t been an issue because whenever I’m in the kitchen if I feel like the water needs changing i just do it - it takes less than a minute to do it.My feedback would be that the water line inside the bottom part is misleading as it should’ve been lower - it took me a few times to remember to fill half that line as I ended up dripping water all over my kitchen which I thought was annoying because you can’t just leave that water on the floor and wiping the floor wasn’t the part of my morning routine.However, I still love this product, it keeps butter fresh and spreadable, looks elegant and it’s easy to use. It can also be a nice and thoughtful housewarming gift.

I must say I was very skeptical that this does actually work. It really does though butter remains spreadable and fresh and it's a nice little pot to have on display as well.

The butter bell really works and I’m very impressed. It’s also very good looking and stable when removed from the pot.

I chose the blue colour and I like the large diameter lid which is easy to handle. I’m impressed so far, keeping approx 2/3 of a block of salted butter cool but spreadable. I have had no issues at all yet with butter going off and the bell holds enough for about 3-4 days max. of moderate use. I packed it solid with butter from the fridge, that had been left to warm up a little to room temperature for a few hours.Filling water to the marker line is essential and changing it each morning is a simple task. We’ll have to see how well it works in summer, but early results are very encouraging and I’m glad I tried it. At last I’m enjoying buttered bread or toast again! Only let-down is the rather naff ‘Have a nice day’ on the bowl.
