This shampoo is amazing! After using it, my dog’s coat looks so shiny, soft, and beautifully black. It really enhances the color and gives a healthy, vibrant look. The formula is gentle, and it leaves the fur feeling clean and fresh without drying it out. I absolutely love how my dog’s hair looks after every bath. Highly recommend for anyone with a black-coated pet!

The bottle arrived damaged-cracked-and quite a bit of the product was in the packaging. Shampoo seems okay. I've only used twice and have not noticed any significant difference/improvement in color.

I have two black pugs, but use this only on the younger one, age 5 years. She was once a show dog, but was re-homed to me post show career and after three litters. Black pugs tend to show gray (actually looks white or silver) pretty early (in Chica, it's her chin and a narrow strip on her tail). I don't expect this shampoo to take away the silver. But it does make the rest of her coat very black and shiny. I love how rich the black is.My 11 year old pug,Gus, has silver paws and silver stockings, and a white/silver stripe on his tail that the kids affectionately call "skunk tail." I've been tempted to try this shampoo with him. But I like his distinguished silver paws and legs (see photo) and don't want to possibly stain them.In summary, I do recommend this product. I would also like to try other similar products for comparison, hence the 4 stars.

I've been looking for a shampoo for my merle Great Dane for the past two years. I'd been looking for one that doesn't dry out her skin or leave her coat dull. I've tried at least 15 different ones and none of them have worked well until now. This one has been the best by far!It gives a blueish hue on my dog's coat helps get mask the reddish color she gets from time to time. While it didn't completely remove the red from the grey parts of her coat, it did enhance her black spots a ton. I suspect that over time with more baths she'll get less and less rusty in color. Over all it left her coat soft and incredibly shiny.But be warned it may color your skin and nails a light shade of blue if you don't use gloves or wash them right away.
