A Pocket Guide to Clinical Midwifery: The Efficient Midwife 2nd Edition

I have had the first edition of this book since it came out in 2010, and it’s my most-used reference. I love how easy it is to find a topic, and how straightforward the information is. It is very easy to use when you need quick info while seeing patients. The references at the end of each topic make it easy to dive deeper if needed. Over the years, I’ve written many notes and taped different articles into my book as things changed. I’ve been transcribing the notes to the new edition and so far, I haven’t had to write anything! The updates are very comprehensive and I’m so impressed with the amount of information in the new edition. Several of my colleagues have purchased it after looking at my copy (or after borrowing it a few times!) and are equally pleased. I recommend it to both new and seasoned clinicians.

Use as a reference a lot

I purchased this in November for a birthday gift in mid January. I just got thanked and asked if it could be returned. She needed it and some one else also bought it for her. I see we missed the date but is it possible. Thanks. MARLENE Puent

Perfect addition to my study materials but shipping took a while.

I wish I had only gotten the App version of this book. It’s hard to quickly search the book but if you like the hard copy than it’s a great resource!

I am very disappointed by this book. The print is really small, which makes it difficult for using as a quick clinical reference. It really isn’t worth the money.
