My weapon didn’t fit and it’s really not a true concealment spot and my wife said it look like it belongs in a funeral home

The wood quality is excellent; however, the interior measures only 4 inches, making unsuitable for a standard-sized firearm. It is designed to accommodate an extremely small revolver. Additionally, it lacks a locking mechanism or cover for the revolver, which means that any school-age child could easily lift the box and access its contents. Lastly, the color is a dull brown, neither gloss nor matte. If you choose to keep it you may need to repaint. It is advisable to look for a comparable concealment case or furniture that is secure and can accommodate a standard-sized licensed firearm that is 6 inches or more

I intended to use a Beretta nano 9 mm which is a micro handgun. It would have fit IF I didn’t have a pinky extender on the magazine. This only measures 8.5 X 4.5 inside diameter. So, to use my beretta nano, I must remove the magazine. I would have included photos of the gun in the box, since that’s the purpose of the box, but I figured Amazon would have a fit, so I left it out.Now, that’s the negatives, the box is very well made, and would fit well on a big fancy desk in a den, but looks a bit out of place in my deco. Had I not purchased this from the warehouse which was much cheaper, I would return it.My opinion is, it’s well made, attractive, and very well made and would look good in the OVAL OFFICE, or in the library of Sherlock Holmes house. As for me, if you have to pay full price, I would pass on it. My advice would be, if you want one, wait for someone to return one and get a huge discount on the Amazon Warehouse, because not many people will find this item useful for their weapon or their decor.
