This sketchpad is fantastic! The paper quality is excellent — thick, durable, and handles watercolor and acrylic paints beautifully with minimal warping or bleed-through. I love that it comes with 100 sheets, giving me plenty of space to experiment and create without worrying about running out too soon. The texture is just right for both painting and sketching, and the spiral binding makes it easy to flip pages or work on a flat surface.

The paper has a kind of violet hue, which I found out is necessary so you can develop lighter spaces with white paint.it’s a big book of papers. I hope to be a great artist by the time I’ve painted through these one hundred sheets.

My daughter loves drawing on this paper with her acrylic markers. It’s really thick and heavy so paint and markers can’t bleed through

First, it's winter and raining. This pad was delivered in ONLY the shrink-wrap that covered the pad. That's it. The driver took care to prop it upright. However, as you can see by the pictures, this pad suffered in transit and got bent on the end and a but warped as you can see on the sideways photo. Between the wet weather and ZERO packaging around a pad of PAPER shipped in the rainy season . . . I'm surprised the damage wasn't greater.I used the watercolor markers that I just got, same day. Wide tip on one side and fine tip on the other.First, the color DID bleed through the paper.Second, the paper got so wet with a lightly applied swipe of the watercolor markers that there was no definition in strokes. It was bleeding together and required black to keep it from looking like a blob flower.Third, because of the above, there was "zero blending" going on. Where you lay a line of colour is where it stays.Fourth, and this was a real problem, because it was so "wet", the paper kind of "scraped up" in spots, with little wet balls of the paper.I have not yet tried colored pencils or graphite or charcoal. Might be much better with dry applications. I also did not try my "acrylic pens" on this paper.

Great paper for art projects. Would order again.

Too much water causes the page you're using to get wrinkly and warped. But it does not bleed through, even using several layers of watercolor.

I primarily draw with budget alcohol markers, and this paper holds the ink pretty well. There is minor bleed through, solved by inserting a single sheet of scrap paper underneath my drawing. The paper is pretty durable too, although not great for water color. This pad is my go-to for daily drawing.
