Slime 10004 Dirt Bike Tube Puncture Repair Sealant – A Must-Have for the Tubliss System!
I’ve been using the Slime 10004 Dirt Bike Tube Puncture Repair Sealant on my KTM EXC 450 with the Tubliss System, and I have to say, this product has exceeded my expectations! Whether I’m riding on the street or tackling the roughest single track, including challenging river crossings, this sealant has kept my tires sealed to the rims and provided peace of mind.Reliability and Performance:The real test for any sealant is how well it holds up during extreme conditions, and Slime performs flawlessly. On both pavement and technical off-road trails, I’ve never had issues with losing air pressure. Even after hitting sharp rocks and navigating through muddy, rocky river crossings, my tires have remained perfectly sealed, and I haven’t had to worry about flats.Tubliss System Compatibility:Using this with the Tubliss System on my KTM EXC 450 has been a game-changer. It complements the Tubliss setup perfectly, keeping both the high-pressure and low-pressure sides properly inflated. The sealant flows into the inner tube, filling small punctures almost instantly, preventing air loss during those long, rough rides.Ease of Use:Adding the Slime sealant to the tires was simple, and the product works quickly to seal any small punctures or leaks. The bottle is easy to handle, and you don’t need any special equipment to get it into the tire. I’ve had to use it a few times during my rides for minor punctures, and the results are always quick and reliable.Overall:If you ride a dirt bike, especially one with the Tubliss System, the Slime 10004 Dirt Bike Tube Puncture Repair Sealant is a must-have. It provides excellent protection against flats, keeps your tires sealed under tough conditions, and saves you from the hassle of constantly checking air pressure or dealing with tire issues. I highly recommend it for anyone who rides in rough, unpredictable conditions. It’s definitely earned its place in my gear bag!

The proof is in the pudding. It just works!
This product literally saved my day. 100 mile ride, rainy and cold, I was praying to not get a flat, as it would have been a pain to patch or change my tube in those conditions. Once I got home, I noticed a staple going into the tire. When I pulled it out, the Slime leaked a bit and immediately sealed the leak. See picture. Not sure when the puncture happened, but I probably rode dozens of miles with that stable stabbed into my tire and tube and it still held the pressure to the point that I finished the ride without noticing anything.

Have used this in the past and never got a flat.
I've used Slime in previous bike tires with tubes, and they've saved me from several punctures. (well, still got punctures, just didn't lose air.) I've also used their inner tubes that come with Slime inside, and they worked well. (no flats, so....)This time applying this was pretty difficult, having to remove valve stems and then somehow squeeze in the correct amount of slime per tire. The problem is that there's no clear strip on the bottle to judge amounts. Though I noticed there are some bump like things on the bottle where I could gauge the halfway mark, and if you old bottle up to the light, you can get an estimate of how much is left.It didn't help matters trying to get the clear filler tube out from under the adhesive label. I'm not sure how youre supposed to do this, as the label will not peel off easily. So I got out a little pocket knife and slit the label next to the tube to try to remove it.Got the valve removed, got the tube onto the stem, which was very difficult since you flatten the tires first, and the valve stem pushes into the rim when you try to push the tube onto it.Having to try to hold the valve stem while pushing the tube on is pretty difficult. But I got it on, went to squeeze the stiff bottle that's NOT made for squeezing, and .... Slime poured out of the side of the bottle all over my hands. Yep, I'd accidently put a tiny slit in the bottle while trying to cut the label and get the tube out. Nice.Had to struggle a lot getting the stuff in while holding a rag over the slit. A big mess. And it took several complete squeezes just to get a quarter of a bottle into the tire. Was doing the rear tire and another big squirt of this stuff came out and all over rim and tire. This stuff isn't fun to clean up. ha.But at long last, I got roughly a quarter bottle in both tires as per instructions, and got valves back in and rode a bit to distribute the stuff.I go on faith that this will save me from flats, as I've had luck with it in the past.Lesson: Be very careful if you resort to cutting the label to get the fill tube off the bottle.Could be improved with clear panel with measuring marks on bottle. Making the bottle not to stiff that even if you squeeze it as much as possible, it only squeezes out a small amount, making it necessary to remove the entire tube and bottle, get air back into the bottle, and repeat several times just to get a 1/4 bottle into a tire.
