The media could not be loaded.  Very easy to use. The touchless functionality makes this very appealing and even the kids are able to use it without making a mess. I think for the price it is great as well - it is automated which, not a lot of bins are, and I have seen many manual-push or pedal bins on sale for a lot more than this. It opens quickly and closes after some 5-10 seconds - perfect really. It is easy to empty and to change as well - just make sure to switch it off at the back before doing so. The filter ensures no nasty smells.So, why the 4 star? Well, I am reserving my full judgement until I have had it for a few months, rather than a couple of weeks as others have said they start to fail after a few months. If I survive that period I will bump up to 5 stars.

Much less smells in the kitchen now. Looks nice. Great for smaller spaces. Ideal for what I needed.

Like the plug In facility smart, quality product, takes 50 litre bags. Not sure the warranty is worth anything its American and it states valid USA.

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve had this bin less than 2 months. Batteries are new and it’s on. All of a sudden the lid broke. As seen in the video it falls down and doesn’t lightly close like it did before. The electric opening sensors now don’t work either. I loved this bin, the size of its great and the lock to stop the dog. Waiting for response from the seller

Our old Bin reached its end of life, this bin was a lot cheaper than the old one but its actually a lot better, the lid opens and closes very quick, the lock to keep pets out is also very well thought out.

This bin worked for a few minutes only, then there was a grinding sound which sounded like a gear slipping. After a few more noisy operations it stopped working completely. Could hear motor running but no movement of bin lid. Sent email to their customer support and received no response.Dismantled bin and found teeth stripped from gear in picture 1. Also the dog proof mechanism has no connection to the electronics so if locked the lid will still try to respond to movement sensor. See pic 2 for back side of locking mechanism, no feedback to the controller.

Really good requires 4 large round batteries or a DC input. Don't put it in an area you walk past frequently as it can scare the hell out of you when the lid opens as you walk past it lol

Only had it a couple of weeks buy can't fault it, so not sure of battery life, it's sad loving a bin, but I do
