Folkmanis Standing White Rabbit Hand Puppet

Like most of the reviewers here, I'd also consider myself a Craig Ferguson superfan. Sid the Cussing Bunny was my favorite "cold open" bit. A few days ago, this puppet popped up in my recommendations. With Easter just days away at the time, I decided to buy my own Sid to use as a practical joke. I can't believe I'm saying this as a bonafide grown man, but I think this puppet is probably my new favorite thing.Aside from the secret family recipe turkey we make at Thanksgiving, this is probably the most well-made stuffed thing I've ever had in my presence. Folkmanis has really outdone themselves because the quality is absolutely superb. Some puppets and stuffed animals feel like they'll fall apart in your hands, which doesn't inspire confidence if you're using them to entertain small and grown children alike. I would have no worries if this rabbit got into the hands of some of my friends' small children because it's going to stay in one piece.As for the entertainment factor, I think we've all seen how entertaining this puppet can be in the hands (hand?) of the right talent--cussing or no cussing. If you think you're not the right talent, never fear. You need no special training to operate this puppet. Just put it on your arm and choose who you'd like to entertain. It's really that simple.After seeing just how high-quality this puppet is, I'm now tempted to purchase my own Wavy the Crocodile and "possessed" snowy owl. Those are also Folkmanis puppets, and I'd expect those to be up to the same standard as this rabbit.CBS cares!

It's sid the cussing bunny!The whole family love this rabbit. Our dog always tries to steal it, our one year old loves playing with it and the 8 year olds think its so funny when we put it on and make him do funny stuff.Great puppet, good quality. Very soft and I imagine this thing will last for the rest of my life at least.

Folkmanis does it again with another beautiful puppet. We have owned several Folkmanis puppets and all of them are beautifully and well made. You can’t beat the price on this one either.

Sturdy and cute. What's not to love? It's hard for me to move the mouth from the inside, but the rest of it is easy.

This thing is so adorable. It has space to use fingers to control the upper and lower jaws, the forepaws, and if you want to, the hindpaws. It is very expressive even for a novice puppeteer. A couple of modifications were needed by my standards: The fur around the eyes was really long which made the eyes hard to see, but that was easily corrected by trimming it. The nose was not really noticeable, so after trimming the fur well down on it, I cut out a piece of pink felt and glued it on.

Just like the one on the Late Late Show from a decade ago. The consistency is amazing. So cute and cuddly.

The rabbit is great. Bought him in tandem with my son - both of us HUGE fans of Craig Ferguson and his array of puppets. Sid is a favorite and we just had to have one of our own. The people at Folkmanis did a great job. Very lifelike and adorable and finely detailed. He's been added to our burgeoning collection with pride.
