Q: My hair is dry and frizzy. Does this have alcohol in it which would make the dryness worse?

Yes it’s true, I believe most hairsprays do contain Alcohol Denat, usually listed as the first ingredient. But the one I try to stay away from is products that contain SD Alcohol 40-B (SDA-CA-2877), which this product does not contain, only the alcohol denat. There are products on the market, like Herbal Essences bio:renew, volume “airspray” - alcohol-free hairspray. I recommend the level #4 max hold, which is pH balanced & color safe and comes in an aerosol 7oz. can. You can find it here on Amazon for about $15.00. There is also an ion Finishing, alcohol-free, non-aerosol hair spray 8oz., which did not work for me, too watery & did not dry quick enough. Hope this helps.

It’s been awhile / but the black top comes off & you spray.

Q: Is this a "working" styling spray?

I use this more as a setting spray, it’s a little more heavier than a working spray. I love the hold of this spray
