A remarkable product
It is so easy to set it up, set the volume, lock in the station and then just allow your loved one with a stroke or dementia to enjoy radio by simply pressing a button. It's perfect.

Excellent for dementia sufferers.
We bought this for my Mum who is a dementia sufferer and kept messing up the settings on her traditional radio, so she couldn't listen to her favourite station until someone popped in to reset it.At the back, you find two traditional 'knobs' that you take out to use to set up the radio. The front of the radio presses out (it's a bit stiff, but it does come off OK), you put the knobs on the dials to set the volume and station, then taken the knobs off, hide them back in the back again, replace the front cover, then bombs away, the radio is set to go. All my Mum needs to do is press the button on the top. The station reception is good and clear and the volume does go up pretty high, if needed.Mum is over the moon with this - a super product.

Really Poor Quality
This is terrible. You are supposed to be able to tune into a radio station and then the station is fixed. However, the station moves and goes to static. My mom no longer uses it. Total waste on money. Great idea but the item is the worst radio I have seen in 50 years. Would happily paid more for a better quality item - ADVOID !!!!!. PS . I ALMOST NEVER LEAVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BUT FOR THIS ITEM NO PROBLEM.

Excellent idea - dad loves it
Bought for my dad who has Alzheimer’s - we just leave it on all the time - fab idea only one button on show but he even forgets about that - hence on all the time - was easy to set up and the sound is great - looks retro and good build quality - would have given 5 stars but the front panel to tune the radio is really difficult to get off (yes I know it’s supposed to ‘hide’ the fiddly bits) so took some messing about to get off but otherwise well recommended

Wow brilliant delivery
Wow - I order this two days ago as was struggling with what to get my father with dementia . Not expecting it to be delivered until either Xmas Eve at the earliest or even later but it’s arrived and is perfect for him. Brilliant .

Arrived scratched
My in laws who both have dementia are very pleased with the radio. Shame that the front was scratched? A bit difficult to send back after giving the radio as a present to then have to take it off of two elderly people as this would only cause more confusion for them.

One button for easy listening
I bought this radio for my 95 year old mother,, she is registered blnd and has been experiencing great difficulty putting the radio on and selecting a station. As the radio is company for her during the day I'd been searching for something like this for sometime,, the one button radio fits the bill and is spot on. I am so pleased that I came across this radio and would reccomend it, for people with sight difficulties. Its a nice looking set and fits in beautifully with her surroundings, with very good reception of our local radio station. A brilliant product.

The volume is good and its easy to use but its very cheap ...
This was a present for my Mums 80th. The volume is good and its easy to use but its very cheap looking with flimsy knobs and some of the plastic has a bubbled appearance. Very limited radio stations.
