I’m giving this unit 5 stars due to the great customer service I received.I received this item on Thursday when expected but unfortunately the thumb cover on one of the attachments was broken off and none of the attachments could be locked in place. The locking sleeve turned with no attachment in place but not with the attachment there. I contacted the company via the email on the instructions and received a response within hours with a replacement unit arriving today, Saturday.The unit works as expected heating up quickly and I like that it has an actual temperature display and not just numbers to try to figure out. Styles my fine straight hair without frizz on the ends that I was getting from my old ceramic iron.

Its takes using a few times to get used to, i like the results of all 5 attachments & get compliments on my hair every time i use it, even from some people i dont know (just encountered momentarily). and i have problematic hair. recommend this product, esp. for the price.only negative for me is that its not easy to use for travel.

I was a Lover of all things L’ange. I hated their prices, but their tools are amazing. I had their interchangeable wand and my daughter thought it would be a good idea to change the head, with the power on. It of course fried it. I didn’t have another $200 to replace it. So I started looking for alternatives. I got this hopeful it would be half as good as my L’ange. I felt okay trying it, with the money back guarantee Amazon offers. Y’all... this wand not only met, it’s exceeded all my expectations. My hair will stay curled til I was next (I wash about every 3 days). I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it is. The only thing I don’t love is the carrying case. There is nothing on the “top” of the pocket to prevent them from sliding out. But as far as the tool itself, this can compete with any of the high end brands for literally 1/4 of the price.

I gave it four stars because I'm tired of curling irons that claim they can make different types of curls based on barrel size or shape. *Most* hair isn't necessarily going to have bigger or smaller curls. What it will have, is less heat applied because the hair sits out further away from the heating element when the barrel is bigger. But you can also overcome that by letting the hair stay on the barrel longer, or in the case of this one, turning the temperature up.Like really, how many women can actually get 1" curls from a 1" barrel? Not many! Probably only black women. With all other races, your hair isn't going to hold that curl any better than a 1.5" barrel. And if you want that "baby doll" curl, the bubble barrel isn't going to work any better than the 1" barrel - as long as your hair can easily slide off of the end of the barrel. Meanwhile the bubble barrel makes it harder because the heat is still there as you UNwind it, so most of the curl will probably come back out as you pull the hair to unwind the wand.The reason I bought this isn't because of the different *shaped* barrels, but rather because it has more than one (and was the cheapest one like that). I am using it to style synthetic wigs, so I needed specific temperature settings. But just in case I forget to adjust the temperature to the wig I'm working on, or work on a wig that can melt at much lower temperatures, I need a back-up barrel so I can keep working while the messed up barrel cools (and hopefully comes clean later). And for that, it works REALLY well! I can let one cool and try to clean it up later, while continuing to work on the wig in the meantime. Getting it off without touching the barrel is also pretty easy with the cooler collar and handle that I can safely touch.

I brought this item for my daughter birthday she likes to curl her gair

When I received the curling iron I realized it wasn’t what I wanted/expected. It looks very nice, but I didn’t look closely enough at the pictures. I did realize that none of the barrels had clips. My hair is short to medium length and I need a barrel with a clip to curl my hair. I am returning the curling iron.

My hair used to be easy to curl, until a prescription that I need to take has completely taken all the curl out of my hair ( probably permanently). I've been trying lots of different things to curl my hair, but the curl is usually gone within an hour of styling my hair. But this curling wand is different! I am SO happy to say that when I use this wand to curl my hair, the curl will stay for 2 full days! I especially love the temperature control - other curling irons and hot rollers I've tried didn't have an option to lower the temp, and I've actually burned the ends of my hair and had to get the ends trimmed off! I've learned that you don't necessarily need higher temperature to curl your hair, just the right styling tool. THIS tool is IT for me :)

It often would get way hotter than the temp on the screen and burnt my hair off on a few occasions. Once I started putting it to a lower temp to achieve the actual temp I wanted it worked okay. I used it on average 1-2 times a week if even that much. Until today, it just stopped working halfway through doing my hair. Very disappointed from the start... Tried to make it work. Wish I'd just returned it.
