Grand

I just got this CD even though they have newer ones out. I like to hear where bands come from and I love this band.I fell it love with it because of the hit on the radio (or where ever i heard it) but now after hearing this album i love them even more.The music is definatley happy and emotional at the same time. It always makes me smile and want to dance.

I first heard "Good Ol' Fashioned Nightmare" while eating dinner in a tiny restaurant in Zion National Park. It totally piqued my interest and I had to know what it was. Thankfully for an iPhone App, I was able to identify it and immediately bought the album when I got home, only to be pleasantly surprised by another album that just came out in November 2010 called "Sidewalks." Both are incredible and I am so grateful to have found Matt & Kim.

This is a great album if you already like a couple of Matt and Kim songs. In my opinion, the sound quality from Amazon MP3s are better than iTunes. Once you download the Amazon MP3 manager, the songs download, then iTunes program on my computer automatically recognizes the new downloads and then all that's left to do is sync the songs to my iPod. Download this album now!

You can't help but to be drawn to this music. Certain songs (Daylight, Lessons Learned) even bring you into a state of musical euphoria, and not many songs are capable of doing that (I have 300+ records/cd's/albums, I should know). Grand is definately one of the best records of 2009. It's unique, clean, fresh, irresistibly catchy, brilliant indie music, what more could you want.

This is one of the BEST Cd's that I have bought in a long time! And the recommendation came from my 14 yr old daughter! I was skeptical, but after listening to their first song, I was hooked! Great muscial talent and fabulous engery! :)
