Fit was good
The key is to clean well. Wipe with alcohol until there is no dirt on clean lint free micro fiber cloth. Do it twice to be sure. Soap may leave a film, so finish with alcohol.Can't say at this point how well they will stand up, but the better the prep, the better and longer they will bond.

Too long for 2017 E300.
I don't think these are manufactured correctly. These chrome pieces come with tape on the back that is suppose to rest on the black trim you are trying to cover. However, when you place the chrome piece over that trim, the chrome makes contact with the painted bumper sides before the backing can make contact with the base and actually stick to it because it looks like it's too large/long.
