Great Product!
I have re ordered this product. The last one i bought at the pharmacy and it was a blessing. This product is exactly like the one I bought last year. I use them on a daily basis for knee pain and other joint pains. It is great for this if you need to walk around with it, they are able to be attached and keep mobile. The ice down lasts for hours for me and its very easy to use. I recommend this product for cold therapies but I cannot say weather or not it is good for the heat. I only use this for the cold therapy. Thank you to the company that makes these! The only real problem I had with this product was that after a year heavily used the product seam split around the inner ring.. It is certainly was worth the money even with this hiccup.

Real good for my knee
I really like this product loads. It is kind of too big for me, but I just move it around and readjust the strap. And I used it on my ankle after I was stung by a wasp and needed to ice my ankle. Worked like a charm! I cannot stress how much I love the velcro strap. It is a great feature.

The (almost perfect) ice pack for your knee
This is a unique and amazing ice pack. You can put it directly on your skin with no freeze/burn like others. It easily molds to your contours because of the beads. It keeps its cool just long enough to be effective. When color changes, put it back in the freezer. For this particular knee pack my only complaint is the nylon retainer strap, which is not designed with enough Velcro area to hold well, or last very Long. They have a shoulder pack which is much better in that category, and it is perfect.

Durable, freezes evenly, comfortable fit
These freeze quickly and change colors red to blue. They work well for sciatica area (you'll need extra velcro strip bandage). Packets hold the beads on place vs falling into one area. They cover my knee, ankle/foot, or hip well.TIP: before putting back on freezer, lay flat and even out beads. Only fild on half for longer life of seams.

The BEST Knee Wrap I've Ever Used
The media could not be loaded. After a rotator cuff injury, I used just about every ice and heat wrap imaginable, including a very expensive system that molded all around the shoulder area. Now it's a knee. The pain can be pretty bad, but my physician has said it isn't in the replacement range. So back to wraps.I purchased this Thera Pearl wrap because of it's ability to remain pliable even right out of the freezer. Other so called 'flexible' wraps have been bulky and/or they do not stay on well. And I'm sure not going to plunk down $100+ for a huge wrap that (hopefully) I won't always need.SO happy with this! It stays on, and is cold without being so freezy that you need a towel under it. It's very comfortable.Another thing that happens with many wraps is that they get a bad smell, no matter how clean you keep them. They start to smell like old ice cubes, even if they are zip-locked in the freezer. No such problem with this one.Very Pleased.

Perfect for knees
I love this. I got this in preparation for ACL and meniscus surgery and I used the ice pack so often. I would use it after school as I was waiting for a parent to pick me up and I was able to walk around with the ice pack strapped to my knee which was super helpful. I did end up getting two because they do take a while to cool and become frozen but other than that I LOVED these.

TheraPearl for BACKS is BETTER
I have 2 TheraPearl Wraps. This one and one for backs. The one for backs is far superior.WHY I DON'T LIKE THE KNEE WRAP--the first reason I don't like the knee wrap is that the strap broke almost immediately. I couldn't return it because my husband purchased it somewhere else and I was immobilzed--the second and more important reason that I don't like this 'Knee Wrap' is that it doesn't wrap the knee. It just sits on the top and even has a hole in the top so you don't get cold there.KNEE SURGERY--I had a partial knee surgery and let me tell you there is a lot of swelling, particularly in old mom-knees. One of the places you need cold is on top of the knee where the incision is. There is a hole in this 'knee wrap' so you don't get chill where you need it.--the other huge problem with this so called 'wrap' is that it doesn't go around the knee at all. Due to the surgery and from knowledge before when I had pain from returning from walking, I can tell you that you need cooling behind the knee. Especially after surgery.TheraPearl BACK WRAP--Love it. If you read the previous paragraph you know I had a partial knee replacement. Right after the replacement I used a cooling machine because you really need to use it about 8 hours a day. After you repair and move on you still need cooling though. For example, I just came in from a 2 mile walk with the dogs. My knees are aching. Both of them. I get superior relief from the Back Wrap and the reason is that it wraps ALL the Way Around my knee. Top--sides-back. And what's really cool is that with the back wrap the black strap is long enough to strap the wrap into place.--I find that I get coverage of the Patella, the laterals there and the hamstring. All of which are still cranky after surgery.SUMMARYI have two of these TheraPearl Wraps and the technology works great. I've used them in the microwave and in the freezer.I am going to suggest to you that you BUY THE BACK WRAP if my knee story makes sense to you. The back wrap allows cooling all the way around the knee and that's what I need.Certainly though this knee wrap might make better sense for others. The knee wrap, for one, extends further down the knee and up the knee, so you get more of the Quad tendon and the Patella tendon below.
