This book has plenty of names to choose from. It gives you some insight on where the names originated from, and the history of names. I say almost too many names because most of the names I would never even think about naming my child, but I can't take off a star for this, that is the point of the book afterall. It's nice to have so many options. Just have to do a lot of page flipping. Anyway good book overall, if you can't think of many names this book definately helps. Really fast shipping as well with amazon prime.

This is the absolute best book for finding many variations of names! I love the simplicity of the format and each name has so many variations making it easy to spark creativity. By far my favorite baby name book and many of these names I had never seen on baby name websites either!

I like this book because it has so many names in one central location, and the internet baby name sites can be kind of sluggish and full of ads. I read the Kindle version and liked being able to highlight the names I liked and then look at all of them in one list and then share. There were some random common names that were missing which I found odd, given it has quite a few foreign names as well. Offers good advice on things to consider when selecting a name as well, which never would have otherwise crossed my mind.

It definitely has a lot of names to go through but there were so many names that were foreign (to me) that it was rather frustrating going through it - I'd go through 10 pages and have only seen about 10-12 names that would be possibilities - for a book that's 673 pages long, this gets frustrating quickly...It is nice that it has many of the popular name lists for many years past and interesting to see the different lists they have - Redneck Names, Genius Names, Gardeners, etc (although I don't know how helpful that information is either)but I think I will be getting a different one. However at the price I got it on Amazon it was still worth it!

I purchased two of these...one for my deployed husband and one for myself (that way we could flip to certain pages together from thousands of miles away). We were a tad overwhelmed by how huge the book is, but we absolutely loved it. I recently sent one of our copies to my cousin, who is expecting her first and needed a baby name book. We highly recommend.

I love names, and this book is full of them. I would recommend this book to anyone searching for names. I search through this book each night and always find another lovely name that I haven't heard before. :) If you need a name or names, get this book. It won't let you down.

I love the variety of names in this book! It also has lists of the top names for professionals (lawyers, doctors, etc), by year, and celebrity baby names.

I thought this would give me many choices for naming my child. About 75% of the names were worthless to me because they were from different ethnicities and quite odd. I couldn't even pronounce many of them. Should have saved my money and used the old book I had. The only thing I liked about this book was the list of most common names so I can (hopefully) avoid naming my kid something that a few other kids in school will be named also.
