Review based on a week of usage
So I got this mouse in a pristine condition (credit goes to ever reliable amazon). And prior to this, I had been using a Dell mouse for the past 9 and a half years (you can assume I am either a cheapskate or I am incredible good in maintaining things) and I was tied up between the Razer Deathadder and the Logitech G102. I went with the G102 because I have seen razer products go to a bit of trouble in India (blame it upon QC and product service I guess) and I mostly play Open world games like GTA, and FPS shooters like CS:GO and Valorant on a casual note. The first thing I would like to say, that despite me having big hands the mouse feels really grippy and doesn't seem like it would just slide out in terms of rapid movement, but then sometimes I accidentally tend to press the right button so the mouse definitely takes a bit of time to adjust to. Rest, the buttons are conveniently placed, the scroll button feels sturdy enough and the DPI button by default is at a very comfortable position. The logitech G Hub is handy enough, with a lot of user friendly game profiles from Logitech members and the RGB lighting is not harsh, but it feels very soothing to the eye. However, I would like to say is that after some hours of gaming, the mouse gets a bit "lukewarm" but that's not a product fallacy, it's because of the LED system and I checked the Logitech forums which said it's nothing to be worried about. Anyways, if you use it within an air conditioned room, it would stay cool. Despite the negative feedback, I went with this and I can say, as based on a week of extensive usage, go for it.Also if any malfunctions happen, I would edit my review.

[4/5] Value for money, wait for restock
This is a good mouse by Logitech. They kept the shape, size and weight distribution similar to the G Pro. It is basically the same as G203 (which is sold in abroad markets).I have so far used Logitech G302, G402, Steelseries Kinzu, Rival. So far on the functionality of the mouse, I found both Logitech and Steelseries really good. But on the quality and after sales support, Logitech is better here in India. So keep that in mind.My previous mouse, G302 lasted for overall 4.5 yrs. It developed the infamous double click issue after 4 yrs.Pros:1. Good sensor (it has the mercury sensor, while their flagship higher end mouse has the well reputed Hero sensor)2. Similar shape as that of the G203,GPro. Weight distribution is pretty good if you are comfortable with the other mice. Also, if you were comfortable with G302 Daedalus prime, then this feels right at home.3. 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects.4. Pretty good RGB effects. Loved the streak of light at the back of the mouse. Listing RGB only because the mouse works as intended. If it's broken functionally, then looks and RGB don't matter.Cons:1. The cable is very thin. This is good if you don't want the friction between wire and surface. But bad for longevity of the mouse. Take good care. If you are coming from a wireless mouse, you may like the flexibility that this non-braided, thin wire gives.2. Price for the other listing is not correct. It launched at about ₹1200, but quickly raised to 1400 and then to 1600. Nowadays the MRP is printed as 1995. But this listing with lauch price sometimes gets restocked.3. Though Logitech says they redid the clicker, it does suffer from the double click issue. I personally have not used it long enough to face it, but it's not fully resolved. Warranty does help.I originally ordered the 1599 mouse, and recieved the mouse in a refurbished package. The serial number on box and mouse was also different. Also, the original seal was broken and seller had pasted a printed paper over it. Since the listing was for a brand new, I returned that mouse. But I have now ordered this mouse for 1146 from Appario Retail seller. This mouse is value for money for about max. 1400.Wait for the 1146 price product to restock. In the last 4-5 months, they have restocked it many times, but small quantities. So save to wishlist and pick it up for the lower price.

Changed rating back to 5
The media could not be loaded. Updated review - Changing to 5 stars. Exactly one year ago I replaced this mouse by visiting Logitech service centre and they replaced my mouse in 2 days and gave me a brand new one. One year has passed since replacement and my mouse is still in perfect shape and working awesome without any kind of double clicking or scroll issue. Even though initial experience with mouse wasn't that good but Logitech is a great company who provided replacement right away and rectified their mistake. Thanks so much Logitech customer teamEdited review - A few months ago I started having problem in scroll of the mouse. The scroll doesn't work at all. However, I ignored the scroll issue and got used to using mouse as it is. Now currently I am facing a new issue and that's with double clicking. I went with this mouse after reading the reviews of the people that this issue has been fixed in second gen mouse, but this is not true. I purchased this mouse less than a year ago and I already have double click issues. Did not expect this from a company as big as logitech. It's really pathetic!!Old review - I ordered this mouse during independence day sale and got it a good deal price of 1495. This mouse is superb and value for money. The RGB lightning on mouse is very bright and it looks very premium.Build quality - I am someone who prefer looks over performance and this mouse looks very good. The build quality of the mouse is excellent and it looks great.Software - The software included with mouse is very good and you can download it directly through G102 product page on Logitech website. You can customise all the lightning effects and dpi level with software and also you can set up custom profile for each game you play as per your preference. On board memory- The mouse also comes with on board memory so you won't lose any of your settings if you shutdown your pc or plug mouse in some other computer.Placement of side buttons - The placement of side buttons on mouse is very good and I never pressed side button accidentally while playing multiplayer games. My old mouse which I used for 2 years had bad placement of side buttons due to which even after using the mouse for 2 years I used to press the side button accidentally at times. However, with this mouse the placement of side buttons is perfect and you can also bind keys through software.Performance of mouse in games - Coming to performance of the mouse; I played two games which includes Battlefield 5 and Rainbow Six siege. Killing enemies felt really satisfying with this mouse and no other mouse gave me such feeling in past and that may be because the sensor on this mouse is very good. I have only used brands like dragon war and gamdias in past and their sensor comes no where close to this and that may also be the reason why I got better kills in game with Logitech because I have never used a mouse from big brand before. Every kill I made in game felt so satisfying and my gameplay has certainly improved in both multiplayer games.Final verdict - Its the most expensive mouse I have bought to this day and it's totally worth it because the sensor on this mouse is really good and the lightning effect is so nice. I definitely recommend this mouse and it's completely worth it on deal price.Important note - I have seen many people facing issue with registration including myself and the reason this is happening is because g102 light sync is not available as registered name in Logitech product list yet due to which registration fail. However, you can simply go to Logitech website and open a ticket with Logitech by clicking on contact us. They will email you, simply reply on thay email with invoice of mouse that amazon shared with you and the support will register product for you and revert back. Hope this helps everyone who is concerned about registration.
