Ikea Alarm Clock, Black

Really good alarm clock. I bought this for my adult daughter, who wanted the bell style. She says it's really loud - a good thing. I like that it takes batteries, so it doesn't have to be wound every day. Also looks very nice on the bed stand. An excellent purchase.

It didn't ever work. It's a great looking product but don't plan on using it to tell time. I tried everything, changed batteries and all that. Still didn't work.

I was looking for a very loud alarm clock, as I have MAJOR sleeping issues & cannot wake up to ANYTHING. This one is very loud and worked very well. It continues to ring for about 5-8 min if you don't turn it off. I purchased one of these in store & it lasted about 1 1/2 - 2 years. I purchased this second one online, and it gave out after about 6 - 8 months. It doesn't make it long enough to need to change the batteries. I gave it a 4 for this reason, but I give it 5 stars when it works. Just be prepared to buy a new one in a year, but very loud and reliable while it lasts!

The clock was shipped immediately after I ordered it. It arrived packaged well and in excellent condition. It is a very practical and loud clock. If you are looking for a basic clock that will wake you up in the morning, it's definitely a great value. I like the fact that it is battery operated instead of wind up. Great clock, great value.

I was looking for a loud alarm clock that does not require a power cord as a gift for my jogging partner because he can never seem to wake up on time. "Oh, I didn't hear my alarm," he says. Well, he sure as heck hears this one! Make sure you read the description- it is battery powered, not windup. The one I got had IKEA packaging. If you are a heavy sleeper and have a hard time with quiet alarms, this is for you. But it is not healthy to be scared awake every morning, so if you don't need this, find something a little more peaceful.

Well, to be honest, this is quite a decent alarm bell clock. But unfortunately, it was not loud enough for me. I am a heavy sleeper guy. It's very hard for me to fall asleep but once I fall asleep, it is very hard for me to wake up. So I bought this clock for the purpose of waking me up to class in the mornings. I am college student basically. Sometimes this clock did it's job by waking me up but sometimes not. I think it works with the average people who does not have sleep problems. But for me, it does not work exactly as I expected. I just need a clock with a very very very loud alarm. But anyways, this is quite a good clock to own. The design is simple and nice and I like it.

I had ordered 3 different alarm clocks . . I couldn't hear the alarm on any of them . . At last I've found an Alarm Clock that actually makes a noise that would wake anyone or anything up . . . it's GREAT and just what I needed . . . I won't be missing any more flights because I didn't hear the alarm . . . thanks

the clock rings for a good long time and is loud, HOWEVER, it is not of good enough quality...It is too light weight,,,as it rings, it moves and it moved itself right off the nightstand, fell to the floor and broke. onwards...
