I have only had the case for two days now, but so far I really like it. This is my first "rugged" case for any laptop I've had. I bought it for a new M1 MacBook Pro 13". I looked at other popular name brands, and I just wasn't going to pay $55-$80 or more. It was simple to put on, seems to provide a good deal of protection (again I've only had it for a short time), and I think it looks good. This may be a minus for others, but for me it's a plus. The small tabs on the sides that clip to the computer to hold it in leave a very small space when the lid closes. While this may allow some dirt or dust in, it protects the screen against any particles that may touch the screen (and possibly scratch it) while the lid is closed. I also like the weight that it adds to the lid. With the new M1 MacBook Pro's, the lid was considerably lighter than my 2015 model, and it was awkward for me to open and close it. It just felt too delicate. With the computer in the case, it feels very strong and easy to open.The only things to watch out for are of course, dirt and particles getting trapped between the case and the computer. Definitely take your computer out and clean it and the case every so often. Also, and this is important, when installing the top portion of the case to the lid, be very careful not to squeeze hard, or just press the case lid down onto the top of the computer while it is shut. Make sure the lid is open, and when you put the upper case on, be aware of the placement of the tabs. Gently press down on the case and the computer lid just at the side of each tab until it clicks. Do that for each individual tab, don't just press down the entire upper case on the computer lid. Too much force may damage your screen. It's very easy to do, if you do the tabs one by one.Pros:- Looks great.- Very easy to put on.- Adds the right amount of weight and heft to the computer (especially the lid), although this may be a con to others.- Seems like it will offer a good amount of protection against drops, which I need because I am always accidentally letting my computer slide off the couch onto the floor.- Decent price for the amount of protectionCons:- If you aren't careful while installing, especially with the top portion, you could accidentally damage your screen.- I think it would offer more protection if the black (rubber material?) of the case was a bit more flexible like most of the rugged iPhone cases. I think this would offer more protection against damage from drops. However, this is just my thinking, I'm not an engineer, so it may be the perfect strength. I hope I never have to find out.If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars because of the hardness of the black rubber material. However, this may not even be an issue, so I will keep my rating at 5 stars. I also gave it 4/5 stars for durability because I haven't had it long enough to judge. I certainly looks an feels durable. If anything changes over time, I update my rating and explain why. Also, I took 4 photos to explain certain things of my review, however, I am getting an error no matter what picture or product I try to attach pictures to. Amazon says they are working on the issue and will let me know. As soon as I can upload pictures, I will. I hope this review helps someone in deciding whether to purchase this case or not.

The color looks rose gold here, but it's really more of a true pink, which was what I wanted. The ridges across the top of the case make it easy to grip and allow me to set a pencil or other things like glasses on top without rolling off, which is handy. The case fits perfectly - very snug with no wiggle room. In fact, at first I thought it was too small, but when I worked at it a bit longer, I got all of the snaps in place to hold the case on very securely. I like that it took some pressure to get it on, because that means it won't snap off accidentally. I bought a much cheaper case first, and it was virtually useless. Flimsy, thin, and constantly coming off. This case is perfect for what I wanted: protection because it's thick with nice rubbery edges, a bit of heft and ridges to make it easier to hold onto the laptop (I have a bit of a tremor), the Apple logo shows through beautifully, and lots of colors available. The matching keyboard cover is a nice bonus. It's hard to match colors (I had a pinkish keyboard cover that clashed), and the one that comes with the case matches beautifully and fits very well. I really like the pink of the case and will buy a couple more colors, because variety is the spice of life, and they're all pretty. My husband calls it my "Pink Tron" case. 😀 Worth every penny!

Yes this case DOES fit the new MacBook Pro M1 from 2020. I've been using this case for 1 month now and it's so amazing to me to have a laptop that actually has a CASE. I've never had a case for a laptop before so I'm just so amazed by it. It almost makes my laptop able to join the realm of rugged notebooks. I have an expensive $4000 razer laptop that I used to use daily but I was always afraid of scratching or denting it and having this case on my MacBook Pro lets me be able to handle the laptop however I want without the fear of damaging the laptop. I was concerned that maybe the hard plastic would scratch the metal but after a month of use I do not see any signs of wear from the plastic rubbing up against the metal of my MacBook. I've also knocked my MacBook around a lot of hard edges and was surprised how great this case protected my MacBook. I'm sure this case has already prevented MANY scratches and dents so far. I highly recommend you get this case even if you think you're super careful with your laptop. I should also add that I had no idea that this case would come with a silicone cover for the keyboard and I absolutely love that it did come with this cover for the keyboard. Although the silicone cover for the keyboard isn't all that great I did notice that if I had never had it on I wouldn't had a ton of crumbs and water fall in between the crevices of the keyboard keys. I also do not like how the silicone cover doesn't allow me to easily find the "F" and "J" key easily because it covers the little nubs that lets you easily find those keys. It also feels like the silicone cover for the keyboard doesn't fit exactly quite right but I didn't see it impacting its performance. Also its true from other reviews that this case does make it where you can't completely close the laptop and the laptop will always be open by 1mm or less but I didn't see it impacting my use of my MacBook. I'm not sure how it would impact your use of the laptop by having the lid not close by 1mm.

It has kept the computers safe and looking new despite my rough kids. It's solid, protects and durable. Only one spot it fails, just the back hing but understandable since it's to not interfere with the mobility.
