It's solid!
Used for replacement wooden mailbox post that sits in a planter box and anchored to concrete. It's solid and would buy again. My only complaint is it is slightly too small for a 4x4 post, even if you force spread the open section. I had to use a hatchet to trim all corners and a couple of sides. All in all, a good buy for the money.

worked great
used this to mount my mailbox to a 1/4" steel sheet. worked great. no need for additional holes as other reviewer mentioned. in fact i didnt even have to tighten the clamp down onto it. it was a press fit even when loosened.

Almost Great
The Anchors seem sturdy, until you realize, that they are only as good as the thin weld at the base. Also, the boxed steel really need to have a small hole in at least 2 side to allow for a deck screw to help make the 4x4 more stable within the bracket. You can drill one, but it's not easy and should just be a logical part of these anchors along with thicker, more robust welds.

Excellent
This worked perfectly for the post I was making. It was so easy to install and attached and secure the post!

Great Idea if it Arrives in Good Shape and with all parts
Ordered the first one and it arrived with one of the corners badly bent and with only one bolt. Looked at the description photos again to ensure it really is supposed to arrive with two bolts. Ordered a second one to see if it arrived in better shape. Nope. Again, it arrived with a corner bent and only one bolt. Took the two bolts from both orders, found the least damaged post holder, and attempted to bend it back into shape. Will be sending back the most damaged one with no bolts. Quality control, folks! It's truly not that difficult.
