BladesUSA 4508-DLB Double Lock Handcuff

I hope to never need to use it, I have played with them to test them out. They are tough and efficient. They should fit the average sized wrist. I don't know if they would fit a big or muscular person. The double locking feature is nice, It keeps the cuffs from opening or closing to prevent any tricks to get out of them. The chain has a plastic paint enamel so they seem cheap however will probably help them last longer. The cuffs came oiled, so I would recommend oiling them if you use them a lot. I also recommend taking a hand cuffing class If you work in security or would like some training.

These are by no means professional grade. I work in corrections. Very familiar with wrist restraints. These are better quality than toy grade, but there's no way in hell I'd say these are duty quality. They'll hold a suspect til the cops get there & put on some S&W's for sure, but that's all I bought em for anyway.

I am a state police explorer and also work as a security guard. These are stable, got good weight, and the color is bada**. It does come oily as some people complain, but all handcuffs are that way. It's to protect them before use. All you have to do is grab a paper towel and wipe them off, then it's fine. Also the reason why I am only giving it four stars is after using them a bit the black paint on the teeth start coming off after going through the locking mechanism. Also scratches show up easier on black handcuffs than silver. But that's any black handcuffs.

Great product! I did a little research on the cuffs before I bought them and am glad I picked these. Very sturdy and realistic! they lock tight and when in the double lock situation do not budge to get looser or tighter! The double lock is optional and the cuffs work just fine without using the double lock! Great to have in a lock box or to keep with your household protection in the case of an intruder. Sure to at least have a way of restraining someone for safety or for a little "fun" ;) Overall completely happy with this purchase!

Very cheap. I double locked them and then could not open them back up.

Good quality construction but they mEssed up one something very important........ It's not double locking those of you insecurity/pd that's a must. So for me they are useless my agency is required to have that feature.

These cuffs are definitely quality metal, not cheaply pained or anything. They have some weight to them and I like that. The lock mechanism is solid and as advertised, will not lock further than what you place them at. I would say for the price, you definitely get a great product.

Slightly on the cheap side. Definitely not something I'll be using to handcuff hardened criminals. Best used as a Halloween prop (like I did) or anything where high security is not needed/wanted.
