Love this!
My kids have always loved my homemade syrup! Now they can make their own. Love Mapeline! Have used it for years!

My favorite maple flavoring
I bake a lot with sucralose as the sweetener, and my baked goods rival sugar-sweetened ones all the time (I use double the sweetener, despite the company's claiming that it measures cup for cup like sugar--it may, but the end product isn't as sweet or satisfying as the goodies made with sugar--but double the amount, and you have something that satisfies your sweet tooth and tastes as good as the real thing). The only drawback is that I used to bake with brown sugar, and I miss that richer flavor. Enter, Mapleine. Add a teaspoon of that to your cookies, cakes, sweet breads, and voila! It gives that rich flavor you were missing by using something other than brown sugar. Give it a try!

Best substitute for real syrup!
I have never bought artificial syrup because mapeline is the best alternative to real syrup! I like to make mine with brown sugar and it’s delicious!

In my opinion, better than natural maple syrup
This was the syrup I grew up with, since it was what my mom made. As a result, natural maple syrup tastes too bitter and robust to me, and I hate how sticky and thick Aunt Jemima and Mrs. Butterworths' syrups are. I love homemade Mapleine syrup because it's thinner, so it can soak into every pancake and every crevice of a waffle. Maple extract doesn't taste as good, either. It might be nostalgia, but if you haven't tried Mapleine I really recommend giving it a try.

I love Mapleine!
I have used it for years and cannot always find it in stores. I make the “thin” syrup ( that is, with just boiling water, I don’t boil it down to a thicker syrup). It tastes so much better than the artificial syrups — no, it’s not quite the “real thing, “ but is a definite next best and so much cheaper. I only make waffles once a month, so one bottle of Mapleine lasts me for years.

Great stuff -- for 115+ years
Reviewing Mapleine is like reviewing oxygen. It's good stuff, especially if you can't afford genuine maple syrup. Basically essential in your kitchen, unless you are a Vermonter or Quebecois with a good supplier.
