Good product and value
We have an older fridge without ice making abilities, and this was the perfect solution. We have had ours a couple years now and no issue! It's running 24/7, and continues to produce ice without issue (sometimes, the ice stays up high even though other ice below it has melted. There must be a sensor that, when the ice falls down below a certain level, it starts producing it again, so it stops it from making more ice when the basket could definitely hold more. I just knock it down and no problem. It starts making more ice. The unit has a very nice streamline appliance look to it, and is built well. No parts have broken or quit working. We have been happy with the quality of this ice maker, especially for the cost! When the water runs low we just take a big (BIG) cup or two of water and pour it down into the water well, and it keeps making ice. It's really pretty easy to use. It's not high maintenance, and my daughters friend loves the bullet ice from it so much - we got her one for Christmas! That was a surprise but a GREAT surprise!!! She loves it! Side note: when cleaning it and running vinegar water through it to clean, take as much of it apart as you can to get any 'ice maker slime' out. This is something that happens in ALL ice makers. I don't care what you say. It's a fact. If you have a sink water sprayer, get the unit close to the sink edge, and spray the water from your hand held water sprayer, into areas (where the bullet ice is being made, in the bottom of the water reservoir. I even removed the cage like grill and was able to put it back on). For tricky spots you might see some gray ice slime near the bullet making area - I use a soft pain brush to get back into the hard to reach areas when I'm giving it a deep clean. Always finish up with a vinegar water cycle. This helps keep the water content fresh and clean.

Does the job, but...
We are on number 3. It does a great job, but I wish they lasted longer. Seems like a year or so, and time for a new one. We use this so we can use our filtered water for our ice as well as our drinking water. We have tried others and not much different so we go back to this one every time.

Great
Such a good price! Kind of noisy and bulky though but it makes really good ice!

Good Until it wasn't
So I purchased this machine last year to make ice for everyday drinks. When I first started using it, I thought it worked well enough. The ice melted quickly but I assumed it had more to do with ambient temperature of the room and room temperature liquids. I had no faults with it other than the fact that it was a bit loud and put off more heat than I anticipated.A couple days ago I had to retire the machine because it stopped working. I started noticing a few weeks ago that the machine was getting a dark colored buildup in the water reservoir and ice compartment that I assumed was from the calcium and minerals in my water. I switched from filtered water to distilled water and ran a descaler solution through it. I figured I bought myself a month of use before I had to descale it again. But less than a week later this darker buildup came back. I knew it wasn't the water this time. I deep cleaned the machine once again I'm hopes that the buildup would go away. This went on for another couple of weeks before I took a closer look and realized that at some point, in less than a year, one of the components had cracked. I have no idea how this crack happened. You'll see in the photos how it's a hard to reach spot. Most of the time when the machine is on, this area isn't even visible. I think the dark brown buildup was actually some type of lubricant leaking into the machine. I'm disgusted now thinking about how I was drinking that with my ice.Right around the time I realized it was broken, I noticed the gears having a hard time trying to lift the gate that would clear the ice. Eventually, it wouldn't move anymore and all you could hear was the clicking of the gears. I also noticed after I removed the ice maker from my table that there was a black, soot like substance underneath the machine and next to where the fan was. Maybe the dark buildup in the water reservoir was smoke? Maybe I dodged a bullet?I tried to get in touch with the company to ask about a warranty (there's supposed to be a 12 month warranty with an option to extend it) but their website has NO PHONE NUMBER and the emails I've sent have gone unanswered.I bought a new ice maker from a different manufacturer and realized that the ice my Aglucky machine was making was subpar. Compared to my new machine the ice was thin, small (even on the large setting), and melted quickly. I'm certain there was some mechanical error the entire time I had that old machine. If you don't care about longevity of your ice maker then perhaps this is a good option for you. I actually can't afford to throw away money and I care about quality, especially when I'm paying 20%-30% more than similar machines on the market.

Ice Maker
I like doing these reviews after I have the product for at least a year. I have this product a year and a half now and it still is working great. I clean it once a month and I use spring water because our water where I live is horrible. I do recommend getting the cleaning brushes. They help clean around the elements. I highly recommend this ice maker for home use
