STOP, Read this Review Before you purchase your newborn angel's first heavenly haven!!
Absolutely beautiful! This was the first bassinet I fell in love with a couple months ago, I continue to look on multiple websites, at multiple stores, and every time I saw this phone again on Amazon it was the only one that continue to catch my eye. The only reason I didn't order in the first place was the price. Instead of it being too expensive, it seems like way too good of a deal, therefore I assumed it was going to be low quality, or not as depicted... My mistake! I will have to say it was more than pleasantly surprised! Instead of wasting all the time trying to find something that resembled the one thing I have fell in love with, I should have bought this one in the first place. Very easy to put together, extremely sturdy or, and very aesthetically appealing, even more so than in the picture. Been a long time since I have ordered something that exceeded my expectations! Is as parents know any time it is something for our children, especially newborn babies you can't do enough to protect their safety, which is why I only assumed because of the great deal it would somehow compromise the quality and integrity of the product. Not only would I buy this again, I already ordered one for my sister's baby that is due next week! :-)Very nicely done Badger Bassinet! Our family will sleep more comfortably knowing are newborn bundle of joy is close by, in the safety of his new Majesty Baby Bassinet!! ( hopefully we will sleep longer as well with Mother Nature's alarm clock being shaded from his precious little eyes....)

Beautiful! And sturdy
September 2020 update:I just had my 3rd child and this is still holding up. It has made it through 3 years of my 5 yo and 3 yo playing in it, jumping on it, doing everything they're not supposed to with it and this thing is still standing. The only damage they did was they made the canopy crooked, but thats fixable. I see some reviews worried about potentially suffocating children. I really think that isnt possible, the fabric sides of this are held in place by a board that snaps on top. Once the board is in place and if all the sides are zipped up, it fits very snug. The board would have to be horribly bent for a baby to get under it or the sides just draped over and not securedOriginal review:Beautiful! And sturdy. I was skeptical after reading the reviews but for many of the complaints people had there were solutions. For instance some said the canopy doesn't sit correctly, but if you look underneath there are fasteners to help that.some said the sides were loose but there are zippers underneath to secure that as well. Yes it needs ironing but it is fabric and you would have to do that anyway eventually. Great deal!

Super Cute!!!
I was kind of worried based of some of the other reviews left on here on the how sturdy the bassinet was. I took my chances and am happy. It was so easy to assemble, looks super cute and thankfully it is sturdy. I was thinking it would be wobbly but it isn't. Rolls very easily from room to room when the breaks aren't locked in. The fabric was very wrinkled of course, why wouldn't it be since it was folded in a box. I know I will be able to take it down easily for storage for my next baby as well. The fabric on the bassinet is a bit on the thin side but overall it was a great deal for what we got! We had bought a much more expensive bassinet for my first daughter and that one fell apart really quick and was super wobbly. As far as comfort for this I am not sure yet as I am due in a few weeks. The mattress pad is as thin as all the other bassinets.

Overall, good quality for the price
After reading a few bad reviews I was a little hesitant to order this. I'm expecting my 3rd baby and I've been through co-sleepers, pack-n-plays, cradles, etc. Each had their own pros and cons.I can tell you, if you're looking for a high quality, super sturdy product, this is not for you! If you are looking for something that is heavy duty and durable, like high quality wood, you're going to be paying a lot more.Structurally, it's just as sturdy as a pack-n-play. It does not have pieces that collapse at the press of a button, but it is made with hollow metal tubes that lock together. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the canopy. The canopy is not heavy, but the metal poles (while they are definitely not going to fall) are wobbly. There's nothing I can do to tighten them or stop them from moving around easily. The fabric is of average quality. About the same as I would get buying a generic brand crib sheet or crib skirt. If you want better quality fabric you will have to order elsewhere or make your own. However, it is not transparent or scratchy.I love that the canopy blocks out light so that the baby can sleep at any time, but is also open at the front so I can check on the baby easily. The fabric needs to be ironed (as with ANY fabric that comes in a package, it will be wrinkled).Considering that this is not a crib and will only be used for 6 months maximum (until baby starts sitting up or has reached weight limit), I wasn't looking for high quality or expensive, but still wanted something safe and good looking. I think this product does the trick!Pros and Cons vs other products:-Co-sleeper: keeps baby close, but took up so much space in my bed and created a separation between me and my husband. I just couldn't-slept without the expensive product and it worked out great!-Pack-n-Play: not comfortable for baby as a bed, at all! It's great for keeping in the living room or taking camping and is easily portable. I've used these for short periods of time or as changing tables in other areas of the house.-Cradle/Glider: I loved having one! It was solid wood and the gliding feature was great for late at nights when the baby just needed rocked back to sleep. However, my older kiddo used to stand on the sides of it (while the gliding feature was locked) and caused it to become off balance. There was no canopy or bumpers (by choice to avoid suffocation hazard in a small area) to help keep heat in and keep the baby warm. It lasted the 6 months it was needed for.-Basinet: it's like a cross between a cradle and a pack-n-play. Could be portable because it's light weight, sturdy enough to hold a little baby who does not bounce or climb, keeps heat in and light out without risking suffocation.I think this is just going to be a personal preference, depending on your lifestyle and budget.
