Q: Does this have different lighting modes (such as dim until activated, or dim all the time, etc), or is it just a basic off until activated.

No it doesn’t they come on when it’s dark when the dogs pass the lights I have 3 lights I think they are brilliant

Q: I bought 2 lights. neither of my lights are working. any idea what has gone wrong? is thete a battery tab. do i need to put batteriesplenty of light.

There is a on/off button just below the solar panel, turn it on, the lights will come on then go off straight away, failing put them in the sun to charge before putting them on your wall, mine work perfectly

Q: Ours just flashes when someone goes into the sensor, can this be changed?

The only thing I can think of as it has happened to me on a different system is that the pit sensor is being contaminated by another light source pointed at it.
