Metabo HPT Angle Grinder, 4.5-Inch, 10.5 Amp, Paddle Switch | G12SE3

Metabo makes first class equipment. A bit heavy, but well worth it in performance.

I use grinders professionally for a job and bought this grinder as a budget tool. I've used Dewalt, makita and milwaukee for years and I'd place this below milwaukee but above the Dewalt and makita 11 amp grinders. Which are the best direct comparison you can make for this model. I pull this thing out for any job where I don't want to destroy my nice milwaukee on a tough job (chance of caught wheels and stalling the grinder chewing up the internals) I didn't expect the grinder to last long and as soon as it stopped working I planned on buying a German made metabo, but after a year of trying to kill this grinder I think I'll buy another one when my current one finally takes too much of a beating. Good job to these guys, I was convinced I'd hate it and now I'm ready to buy it again.

I bought this to clean up metal tubing for welding and also to clean up my welds. So far it has not let me down. I had an older harbor freight grinder and it was so loud! This grinder is much quieter in comparison and it doesn’t vibrate nearly as much. I would highly recommend this grinder.

I needed an angle grinder for removing epoxy already I had some problems with another brands their powers were between 5.5 and 6.0 amp.. Theybecame hot and smelled like they were burning.Today I used the tool extensively as I was workingin a project it worked very well. As yet I can't speakfor the last lasting quality of the tool but if I find aproblem I will amend this review.The shipping was fantastic.

This grinder is unbelievable, we have two of them in our trailer repair and fab shop, these get constant use by our five shop guys. We went thru Milwaukee and DeWalt junk before finding these and they have been running strong for over a year and a half, simply amazing, especially considering the abuse they receive on a daily basis. I am convinced this is the best corded grinder money can buy.

A solid grinder for the price. Very well built and powerful. I accidentally nicked the power cord so I had to take it apart to shorten the cord and I was impressed with the quality of the internal components. I expect this grinder to last a long time. The paddle trigger is great

Comfortable trigger, well balanced, serviceable guard. Quiet compared to the screaming ones that I've had.
