Just received this thermometer. It works very quickly as advertised although I have not yet used it on someone feeling ill. I used it on myself and my wife and it showed no higher than normal temperature which is accurate because neither of us is sick.

This thermometer is perfect for those parents who want to check their kids temperatures in the middle of the night and not wake them up. My kids spike with fevers and I have to constantly check them. This was so much easier than using the ear thermometer and waking them up. It reads super fast, lights up with a color indicator as to fever status and is easy to read.I checked this thermometer against two other ear thermometers and they were all close in what was being registered. I trust the accuracy of this.
