I wanted to install a full soft water system in our home when we recently remodeled but financially it did not work out. Which is why I was so happy to stumble upon this little product. I do wish I had soft water for all my appliances in the home but I will settle for the shower for now. It was super easy to install, took no time at all. I noticed a difference right away in my skin and hair and the calcium build up we usually get. Unfortunately, I have black hardware in the shower so this doesn't match. But I really don't care because the results are amazing for such a great price too.

I did a water test on my water and it was all pretty good, but I just wanted it to be better. This makes my skin softer and feel less dried out. I also like how easy it is to install. Upon installation it lowered my shower head just a bit and that was really nice as well. Great product!

Seems to do the trick. Moved into a new place and the first night I washed my hair I noticed it was much more frizzy and dry than ever, making it look unhealthy. Washed it with this filter in place the other day and my hair seems to be back to normal. Worth a try!

I didnt realize we had hard water but I noticed a change in my hair texture when I moved into a new home. I read hard water could have that effect and also a damaging effect on your skin increasing chances for signs of early aging. We rent so a whole home filtration systems is not an option for us right now. We got two for each mine and husband's bathroom. Immediately I noticed a difference and it made my water feel like butter on my skin. I couldn't believe the difference. I did not tell my husband what it did, only that he put it in his shower, and after his first one he said it the shower felt different and soft. He was shocked to find out how hard our water was and what a change it did when using this filter. Will be repurchasing for the rest of our days here.

I decided to pick this filter over others since it had three-stage filtering instead of two and because of the size difference. This thing is quite small for a shower filter and looks great. It barely changes the height of the shower head.Usually, with this kind of product, I would do thorough tests and allow more time before providing a review. However, with so many bad reviews posted so quickly after using the product, I guess I will leave the review after a couple of weeks of use.Pros:Water seems cleaner. Haven't purchased test strips yet, but definitely produces more suds.Looks great.Very compact.Great Price.Has NOT slowed flow at all.Cons:None at this time.There are many reviews on here talking about flow issues which caused me to almost not buy this. However, with the money-back guarantee, I still did and I am glad I did. If you have major sediment issues with your water and/or are on well water, you will probably have flow issues no matter what if you do not have whole house filters installed.I use a high-efficiency shower head. I get a great shower while using only .75 GPM. Perhaps the bad reviews got a flawed item. Perhaps they have a lot of sediment in their water with no filters anywhere in their house before this. Or, perhaps they are one of those people who do not care about our environment and use 5 GPM showerheads. Bottom line, this is a great product!

Let me start off by saying I liked 2 things about this product -1) Concept2) Customer ServiceThe 1st product worked for a couple of days then the water pressure was basically reduced to nothing over the next few days. I contacted customer service and received a response in about 24 hrs. The customer service was very nice and immediately shipped out another filter. I replaced the old filter with the new and it worked exactly the way it was designed to. There was a very slight difference in water pressure - nothing major. After about 1 week of use, the new filter looked exactly like the old - the water pressure of the shower head eventually cut down to nothing.Is anyone else having this problem???? The filter works great when it's first installed, what is causing the change?? Would love to see if this product truly makes a difference, but it simply does not work for long enough to tell.

Ordering my second, not even looking at other brands! I bought this about 10 months ago and have been extremely happy. Easy to install, no difference in water pressure at all and I like a shower with lots of pressure. I live in an apartment and was able to put this on in 3 minutes flat. There are 2 people using shower,this states 6-9 months for family of 4. My daughter has extremely sensitive skin and there was an immediate difference in skin irritation. We also noticed softer hair and my skin no longer felt tight after a shower. Use a good goats milk bar of soap and skin soft as heck. I would say I noticed maybe a month or two ago that maybe it wasn't working as good as before, so I would say a family of 2, I got 8-9 months of use with a noticeable difference, which is great for the price. I am reordering this one as I have been very happy with it and I know it works excellent

The filter works great for our extremely hard and overly chlorinated water, and I t was very easy to install, and doesn't take up a ton of space. However I guess I accidently over tightened it after installing the shower head because I can not get the enclosure apart to change the filter. The enclosure is made of a cheap plastic and in order to twist it hard enough to open it the plastic will crack. But for the price it's just as easy to order a new one as it is to order a replacement filter.
