This is very SHARP. I have some really thick briar vines along the edge of my front yard which I can't safely cut using power equipment. I bought this to try to manually remove the pesky plants. So far, the tool is working fine. My stamina, not so much. I am glad I have this in my tool arsenal. It will serve me well in many ways. If you think you might need one, you should go ahead and buy it. You won't be sorry.

If you are looking for the right "big knife" to tackle those chop down big weed chores, this is the tool for you.Very sharp, with a blade side and a sawing side this has become one of my best landscaping tools. Very well made of carbon steel and includes a storage sheath to keep it safely put away.

The saw is awesome sharp and it’s most definitely heavy duty. I don’t know how long it will stay sharp as I haven’t used it yet.

Exactly what I needed for my yard work

This machete is lightweight, easy to use, easy to carry, and extremely effective at removing woody vines. It isn't designed to be a heavy-duty tool, and the blade is definitely showing some wear after a week of intense use; but even after hitting several rocks, the blade is still sharp enough to skin the ivy off of this tree with very little effort. When it eventually wears out, I'll gladly purchase another one of these machetes.

This item is absolutely Great!

The machete is strong and reliable, however, when you said 19" I thought it was the blade length not the whole machete. Therefore, I found it too small for my use, but I'll still keep it for protection.

Very good for the price and very sharp use it for brush and debarking logs worked great
