I like this stencil a lot and it has gridded guidelines perfect for Hobonichi planners. However some of the pieces are really small and only work with 0.5mm or smaller tipped pens.I also definitely don’t recommend using it with a fountain pen. The ink gets sucked under and bleeds. Works better with a rollerball or non-smear gel pen.

Great accessory for my hobonichi - the grid squares are super helpful

This is a nifty little add-on for my Hobonichi Techo journal cover. I like the stencils that help me actually draw, and I use the edge guides to make straight lines dividing entries.As a con, these don't fully agree with fountain pens that have high flow or wider nibs. The ink tends to pool under the edge and cause streaking when you pick up the template card. Also, the price is probably high to most people, but I can attest to it being sturdy and of quality standard to Japanese products.

I use it daily for my Hobonichi. Not cheap, but great quality.

I guess I will need to get some VERY FINE TIP pens to use with this. This template is TINY. Other than that, it's OK and sturdy.

The images are seen best on the stencil itself, no matter what size pen or pencil you use … you might as well hand draw it.
