Bought these based on price and I am totally satisfied. Works as well as Salonpas and other 4% Lidocaine brands, including store brand generics. Adhesion has been excellent. I totally recommend.FOLLOW UP (12/10/23) - Frustration with Adhesive BackingI am on my second box of 30. While I am still very satisfied with the effectiveness and convenience of these pads, I am frustrated by product inconsistency. Specifically, the plastic backing is sometimes difficult to remove, the adhesive is gooey and sticky, and as I peel the backing, the pad tends to fold in on itself and/or gets stretched out. This occurred on a few of the pads in the first box I bought, but most were fine. As I begin to use the second box, it has occurred on nearly every pad. This is frustrating and I have occasionally had to throw out a pad, or snip off a portion that had folded over and became unusable.As I read back over reviews, I have noticed that a lot of people have had this experience as well. That is disappointing. I will be reaching out to Wellspring, if they do not respond in this forum.4/10/24 FOLLOW UPI did follow up with Wellspring at their number on the box. They were very responsive and sent me a new box of 30. I appreciate their responsiveness.Between the box of 30 I had just started using, and the box they sent me, I have had very few pads that peeled smoothly as designed. Most were sticky and stretched out as I tried to peel and apply them to my knee and ankle. I often cut the pad in half because I do not need a complete 3.9"x5.5" pad in either area. Either way, when applying the pad it tends to stretch from 1.5 to 2 times its length. I just put a complete 3.9x5.5 on my knee. Final size when applied was 2.9"x12".Unfortunately, I suspect, from both experience and others' reviews, that most of the other similar sized and priced pads sold here on Amazon are likely to have the same problem. Good pain relief but unreliable application and adhesion.

I BELIEVE THAT FOR LESS MOBILE AREAS LIKE BACK, HIP, ETC.. THESE ARE MUCH BETTER THAN THE ICEY HOT, ASPERCREAM, ETC.. BRANDS. THEY STICK WELL AND IF YOU MOVE THEM THEY DON'T LOSE THEIR STICKINESS.HOWEVER, IF YOU USE IT ON YOUR SHOULDER, LIKE I DID - FROM THE TOP OF THE SHOULDER AND DOWN THE ARM - THERE WAS JUST TOO MUCH MOTION COMBINED WITH LONG SLEEVED SHIRTS, SWEATERS AND SWEATS JUST RUBBED THIS PATCH TOO MUCH. IT GOT STUCK TO MY CLOTHS MORE OFTEN THAN ME ON ALL THE EDGES - THE VERY CENTER WAS THE ONLY PART THAT STUCK. THAT JUST WAS TOO LITTLE A COVERAGE AREA EVEN SMALLER THAN THE CURIST PATCH THAT IS ABOUT 3X4 SIZESO I HAD TO GO BACK TO CURIST PATCHES. THEY ARE SUPER DUPER STICKY. BUT BEING ALLERGIC TO ADHESIVES - THE CURIST PATCHES GIVE ME A CONTACT RASH THAT I DON'T GET WITH WELMATE

I'm 86 and have had sciatica among other things for years. I am so happy with these patches. I couldn't function otherwise. The price has become more competitive but I would still like then a little cheaper. But an excellent product and best of all, they work!

These patches do what they’re supposed to do as well as they are able to do. I wish that they were easier to put on by myself. The contortions I need to get them on my back and they sometimes crinkle crinkle, and stick to itself and don’t come unstuck

We have been buying this wonderful product for years. BUT the last time we ordered, we got boxes with the mint green color like the product photo above, with a peach color stripe across the top. See my photo. We found out that these peach and mint green boxes are manufactured in CHINA and contain DIFFERENT INACTIVE INGREDIENTS than the ones we've always used before. I called the company directly and explained. She said they now have two manufacturers, China and India. The ones that have always worked excellently for us before were the mint green box with NAVY BLUE stripe. The boxes with green/blue are from INDIA and these are the ones you want!! They stick really well and work great. We use them for rotator cuff tear, arthritis, muscle spasms and joint pain. If you struggle getting the peach stripe China ones to stay in place and not roll up on the edges, then do yourself a favor, call the manufacturer and order directly from them. Specify that YOU MUST HAVE ONLY THE GREEN/BLUE BOXES that come FROM INDIA and not the green/peach boxes from China. We will be ordering directly from the manufacturer from now on for this reason. On Amazon, you order and you get whatever manufacturer they have product from. Remember, green/peach = BAD. Green/blue = GOOD!

This is my second time purchasing this product the first time I purchased a smaller quantity and those patches were easy to open. You just gave each side a little tug, and there was a black line in the center of the backing & came apart made it easy to put on. This batch is a bigger box of 40 they have no separation in the back so you can pull it apart even though the box says it does, which makes them very very difficult to get the backing off and to get it on.I also noticed that, with the second batch of 40 in the bigger box, 1st night, I use them I have a rash on my hand, which I did not have for the whole time I was using the other box, which was more than a month, and I feel like they didn’t work as well and they’ve left a residue on my hand which the other box’s did not. I, too as other people who have done reviews here I’m hoping that this is a bad batch, but it was an expensive box and if was a bad batch, because like I said it was the 40 which is more money. That being said, I did have some pain relief, but not as much as I had with the smaller box with the patches that had the ability to tear them apart in the center to get the backing off. I’m actually sitting here writing this review just shortly after I took the patch off which is the first one from the second batch and my skin is starting to feel like it’s burning, so not sure what’s going on here gonna go wash my hands again and put something on my hand because … weird.
