will this work for a led bulb?

Truthfully, I would not use the Legrand Paddle/dimmer with anything except a Legrand system such as under counter. My under counter system works great, But for standard applications, there are just too many good products out there and if you notice, the Legrand is far more expensive. My under counter system was almost $2000.00 for less than 20 feet of counter lighting. What liked about it was that it is tucked way up along bottom (underside) of the cabinets and the backsplash, and is hardly noticeable.

The one your asking about is for Incandescent and Halogen bulbs. You should look at the Legrand Adorne Paddle Dimmer, 25W-450W Range, CFL/LED White ADPD453LW2.

He make noise on my balcony fan now with this new switch.... is that normal ?

The answer might require an email to Legrand with information about your type of fan, the specs on it if possible, and the answer might be the capacity of the dimmer portion of your switch. I have many Legrand in my house 2 years now and they work well. The dimmer types have been matched to the type of bulb such as incandescent versus LED.
