I make the HH Stroganoff for my family but add sour cream and they love it. I decided to try the lasagna and what a disappointment ! I even added ricotta and Italian cheese and it was barely edible. I’m not sure how it got high ratings

I remember the days when Hamburger Helper was very salty. These days they seem to have changed that and I actually had to add some salt at the end. This Lasagna version is actually more sweet than salty. After frying the ground beef and draining it I added about 1/2 cup of chopped up fresh mushrooms and cooked them a bit. Then I added the water, milk, pasta and seasoning packet. I covered it as it said to and cooked it for 12 minutes. It seemed a bit soupy so I uncovered the pan and cooked for five minutes on medium heat to boil out some of the water. That seemed to work. So a success in the end! It is a quick way to have dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes.~The Rebecca Review
