Awesomeness
I own several xbows and this is my favorite. I shoot 500 grain arrows and have shot in a few hundred times and no issues at all. The original string was showing some wear after way more shots then I can count. So I replaced it. Its an easy job.Shoot heavy arrows and it will last for years. My 500 gr arrows shoot 365fps that is plenty fast. 300 dollar bow at that speed is a bargain. Its a tack driver out to 50 yards with the speed ring scope or the burris Oracle x.I love it more the the Swat x1.. its faster and easier to hold steady. Im considering buying a 2nd as a back up.

Don't Shoot the arrows that come with the package, go heavier
Excellent crossbow for the $$. The problem we are seeing with limb failure is due to what I call "a need for speed". Manufacturers have capitalized on this need for speed, but marketing crossbows based on "bolt speed" and not on "momentum". They ship the bows with bolt that shoot the maximum speed recommended for that specific bow. This is like selling you a car and having you only drive at the "red line" on the RPM meter on the dash..... the car wouldn't last that long before a mechanical failure, now would it?The limb failures we are seeing are across many manufacturers, not just one. They are all doing it (marketing bolt/arrow speed) because most novice hunters only look at "FPS speed". Do your research, look at some educational videos in regard to arrow speed and limb failure, they are easily accessible today.Shoot 500 grain total weight bolts out of this bow and you won't have any issues. Arrow speed may drop a little, but you will see greater penetration and much better hunting results. After all is said and done, isn't that what we are trying to accomplish with the bow anyway. Purchase it and shoot a little heavier bolt. You won't be disappointed.

Buyer Beware
The overall look and feel of this bow is pretty decent for the price you pay; however, upon assembly and first pull of the bow string into its locked/fire position I heard a distinctive cracking sound which turned out to be the left limb delaminating. I then contacted the seller to get a replacement in which I was informed that they could not, but was willing to send me the parts to get the limb fixed on my own dime. Understandably, this frustrated me to the point of just returning through amazon. Note that a failure on this limb could have resulted in a catastrophic failure that could have injured myself or anyone nearby so this need for replacement and further QA/QC is warranted; however, the suggested course from the seller indicated that no real solution could be made at this time, so a return was my best case.I no longer had the original box it shipped in, so I found one that fit and wrapped everything in bubble wrap and packed the box to protect the bow; this however was not sufficient as the seller then charged me 139.50 for a restocking fee. Apparently cardboard is now close to the price of gold and now the buyers must suffer b/c they produced a faulty product that they can no longer sell. Nevertheless I've reported this issue to amazon and will continue to fight these people to get my full refund. Understand that you are buying a poor product from a seller that doesn't care about quality. Spend the extra money and get something reliable and safe, while avoiding a seller that essentially will steal from you.

A good starter
Extremely disappointedBought this bow off of the reviews .seem like a pretty good starter bow. where do I start haThe bow assembly was pretty cool and easy to do only took about 10 minutes.Good power very little kickback. The arrows that they send you are complete garbage .I used a Target deer the arrow heads came off first shot stuck in the deer. The scope itself will not Mount the rail system. I had to grind the rail to make the scope sit level.I've only had this bow for 2 weeks continuously shooting it for my hunting test that I had the next day . I only had about 50 arrows through it when the limb broken .I took it to archery shop and he said that this thing is complete junk. Pointed out strings weren't tight stirrup was loose and the four grip would not tighten. In the servant that rubs the rail was completely worn out I used wax everyday as stated in instructions. I would not buy this bowl again

Accurate and very fast
Bought this for my son for a Christmas present and it is extremely accurate, very hard hitting, quiet for as fast as it is and reliable. We took it out of the box and it was completely assembled in less than 30 minutes and only took about 6 shots to be completely dialed in. The scope is crystal clear, the stock is adjustable to be comfortable no matter who is using it.

Strong bow and accurate..just broke twice.
Bow is strong and accurate. Put a arrow straight through a 300lb boar at 30 yards. Only complaint is the limb on the left side cracked while it was cocked when I was hunting. Warranty seems to be pretty good, they replaced the whole front end, limbs and strings the first time. Then on the replacement they sent me, it started to delaminate a single layer, so I called killer instinct again and they sent me just limbs to replace again for free. Warranty is good but not sure I'd buy again due to the limbs breaking twice on me.
