Are you asking about the status led? If you want to turn that off just put a small piece of black electrical tape over it. Like you would on your laptop built in cam.

Q: My router speed is around 400mobs. however my laptop only 45mpbs with tis adapter. it did not increase to 876mpbs for who got 400+, what do you do?

From my experience, it is best to get a MESH type wifi router and connect your computer system via a direct LAN cable. The wifi routers and wifi dongles do not truly optimize network speeds that they advertise.
