Unsure of the measured weight, but it is hefty. It has holes in the back and the bottom for anchoring, which is needed if it will be used as a safe. I use it for mobile security when traveling, and it is almost too heavy for that.

Is this fire proof please explain more in detail. if its all metal then it should be fire proof.

You would thick so, but it's not. I also brought a fire proof zip bag to protect those types of items for my safe.

Lockbox won’t lock ???

I understand that batteries can be inserted to utilize the combination. I never did this and used the key to lock and unlock the box. The purpose of my box was long-term storage without taking my weapon out very often. You might try new batteries and not the ones that came with it if any did.
