Excellent sound quality!
I was skeptical about this speaker, I was wrong! Like everyone says, this tiny little speaker puts out great and loud sound. I really don't know what magic they built into this thing...I use it as a radio in my weekend car to stream music or podcast and it works flawlessly. I love this little speaker and if I had a need for more, I would buy them.I didn't see these pros and cons listed, I have one of each.PRO: If you pause the music, steaming, or whatever and walk out of range, as soon as you are in range it will begin playing again - that blew me away as a different Bluetooth speaker I have doesn't reconnect half the time, let along start the music.CON: I am paired to my Pixel 8 and there is no battery display in the phone for the speaker - other speakers will show their battery state and this one doesn't. Not a deal breaker, just no clue how long I have left on the battery.

USB-C!
I got one of these a while ago, perhaps a year and a half. It was micro USB but I really like it so I deal with it. Bought another one for my wife and it's USB-C now!!!

Packs a punch!
What else can I say about this little wonder that’s about the size of 2C batteries side-by-side. This little guy packs a punch and is really heavy and you know the material used to build was very robust. Easy to clamp onto my backpack or throw away my bags for camping trip, international trips or just to beach. As far as how loud it gets as well as the base… I’ll just say set your expectations as it does get loud for the size, but the base starts to distort if you’re just your EQ settings in Spotify and such. Battery life so far has been about two hours of continuous playing and I’ll continue to monitor for now. Some pain is rubbing away on the small attachment point on top and not really thrilled about that but otherwise it looks like it’s been used like it should.

Amazing performance from a tiny, rugged package
When I saw the announcement from Muzen about this little bluetooth speaker I was very excited. I was instantly drawn to the design. As a designer/engineer/fabricator, I knew that this was something I had to own. I am a returning Muzen customer because I already own one of their OTR metal speakers. From my experience with the OTR, I expected the Wild Mini to be a high quality product, and it did not disappoint. I have been using the speaker frequently for over a month now. The design still delights me every time I look at it. It looks like a piece of military surplus equipment. It would look equally at home in a vintage jeep or the cockpit of a jet. Muzen deliberately featured exposed screws and hardware in a thoughtful manner that accentuates the rugged look. The large metal volume knob has a knurled texture and a satisfying click as you rotate it. This knob is secured on the top of the speaker with a small “bracket” and some more exposed screws. On my gray colored version, all these visible screws have a shiny gunmetal sort of finish that contrasts the matte gray color of the speaker. Adjacent to the volume knob is a power indicator light that can also act as a flashlight. Under normal use, though, the light pulses softly with a warm glow. The charging port is under a hinged cover that has a rubber seal to keep dust and moisture out. The other controls are a combined skip-track/pause button and the main power switch, which is a spring-loaded toggle that can also be pressed to activate the flashlight. When the Wild Mini is establishing a connection with your device it emits a beeping “signal” sort of sound that evokes the retro-military vibe in a whimsical way. Based on my experience with the OTR, I expected the speaker to be made from quality materials. Indeed Muzen demonstrates that using quality materials matters. The Wild Mini is almost entirely metal, and, as a result, has a heft and quality feel. All of these design choices make you feel connected to the Wild Mini in the same way that you would feel connected to a favorite tool from your toolbox. This brings me to the final aspect of this speaker: the performance. Once again, Muzen has shown that larger than life sound can come in a small package. The sound quality is quite surprising given the diminutive size. I should also point out that the packaging design is among the best you will find. My gray version came in a utilitarian-looking plastic case that latches closed. This is another demonstration of the thought and care they put into all aspects of their product. Overall, I am very pleased with the Wild Mini. I really appreciate having a small, rugged speaker that is just as enjoyable to admire as it is to play music on.

Not worth the price
The media could not be loaded. This little speaker is overpriced due to packaging. It comes in a hard case like it's a secret military machine with a bunch of gimmicky parts that do nothing. Cute but unnecessary. I bought this end of January and it stopped working early March, a week after the return window closed. I reached out to the company on their website with no response. The Bluetooth does not stay connected and the flashlight button does not depress. I have deleted the device and reconnected, restarted my phone and still it will not stay connected to the phone. It only plays if I keep my finger holding down the on button, which of course makes no sense. I submitted video showing Bluetooth only blinks when I'm holding the button, when I let go out stops and will not connect. For the price of this thing, I expected amazing. I would have been better off buying a cheap plastic speaker.
