A Game-Changer for Productivity On-the-Go!
I recently purchased the GTEK Portable Monitor, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. As a frequent traveler and remote worker, having an additional screen for my MacBook has been a game-changer for productivity, and this portable monitor fits the bill perfectly. The 15.8-inch IPS Full HD screen delivers stunning clarity and vibrant colors, making it a joy to work on. The 1920 x 1080P resolution ensures that every detail is crisp and sharp, whether I'm editing documents, designing graphics, or simply watching videos during downtime. The screen is also wider than the standard 15.6 inches, providing a little extra real estate that makes a noticeable difference. One of the standout features for me is the built-in speaker. While it may not replace a dedicated audio system, the speakers are surprisingly clear and adequate for conference calls, casual listening, and watching videos without the need for external speakers or headphones.Setting up the monitor is a breeze - it connects seamlessly to my MacBook and PC, and the included smart cover serves both as a protective case and a versatile stand. The cover is well-designed and adds a touch of elegance to the overall package. What truly sets this portable monitor apart is its portability. Slim, lightweight, and easy to carry, it has become an essential part of my travel gear. The ability to transform any space into a dual-screen workstation has significantly boosted my efficiency on the road. The GTEK Portable Monitor is not just for business; it's also a great addition to my entertainment setup. Whether I'm binge-watching my favorite shows or playing casual games, the immersive display enhances the experience. In conclusion, if you're in the market for a portable monitor that combines excellent display quality, convenience, and versatility, the GTEK Portable Monitor is an outstanding choice. It has become an indispensable tool for my work and leisure, and I can't recommend it enough for fellow professionals on the move.

Freaking awesome - must have for travel!
I had to travel without warning and didn't have time to find a monitor that was light and packable (and cheap enough to not be an issue before I left) and was checking Amazon vs. Facebook when I got to Phoenix trying to decide if I wanted to deal with finding a used one for a second screen or just buy an Acer or whatever was going for $100 "ish" as a potential throw away. I found this for a bit over that limit but after testing it for 30 minutes on USB C for power and video I'm really happy I ordered it. Here's why:1) It's not much larger (wider) than my laptop so it's totally packable in my bag as a carry on item2) It's about as thin as my Thinkpad, maybe a hair thinner even with the integrated case/stand on it.3) Cables included - ready to go...---They included a USBC and an HDMI cable - It's on the short side which right now is PERFECT, but depending on where the USB C ports are on your PC/device it might be short for you so picking up a longer cable isn't a bad idea if you don't already have it.The stand is a bit picky - similar to an iPad stand. Once it's in place it works great (more stable than an iPad stand/flap cover and a bit thicker. The speakers in the 2nd monitor work great for listening to a teams meeting or You Tube. (I had to take a loaner/spare laptop and it's internal speakers are shot so the speaker was a plus) Here's the key business uses I can see for this right off the bat:A - If you normally work with two monitors trying to edit large spreadsheets or work with many systems is a major pain on a single monitor. This solves that problem and doesn't add much weight to your kit.B - For remote training, presentations, and sales demos were being able to have a portable monitor to replicate your main display for participants/customers it would be a great backup for those times you end up in a conference room without a display or one you can't connect to.C - Nice to have - when you are reading e-mail at 10:30 at night you can keep Netflix or Amazon Prime Video up on one monitor while you work...I ordered a 6' USB C - plan to pack it with the included cable which I think is shorter than 3' and the 6' USB C. With that and a compact wireless keyboard/mouse I can pretty much replicate my home office in any hotel or remote site I have to go to way easier than past fixes centered on buying and donating used monitors when done or having to borrow one from a local office in my travel destination and hauling that to a hotel.

Adjust Resolution, Magnetic Stand is Tricky
I am giving it 5 stars for the value but really probably a 4 star product. Because it was so affordable I am willing to accept compromises. It works great, plug and play from a USB-C powered port. I have a laptop with an older USB port that it doesnt work with but its not a very advanced machine so I was kind of expecting that (2014 13" Macbook Pro) .On my 2021 16" M1 Macbook Pro it works perfectly. The resolution is great but KEEP READING... I was very disappointed at first with the quality of the resolution but initially chalked it up to it being an inexpensive solution. After a couple of weeks I adjusted the resolution through the display settings and it is SUPER CLEAR! Great resolution once you dial it in.Lastly, I use the monitor in a pinch if I am not at my desk and I have an impromptu meeting. I look like a bumbling idiot every time I try to unfold and origami the magnetic case to get it in a standing position. I dont use it very frequently and always forget how to get the damn thing to fold up right! Other than that, great quality for the price! It is about the same size as my 16" Macbook Pro (much lighter obviously). I can also fit both the laptop and the screen into the same protective backpack sleeve which is nice. It is about the same thickness as my macbook so if you are wondering if yours will fit in whatever bag you carry it in, keep that in mind.
