Really enjoyed the images in this book. Got it for a class, and I personally thought it was one of the best written Art History books. It's actually readable.

For any enthusiast of Islamic art and architecture this is definitely a good source to have. Even the cover of the book is a good way to learn about the culture and the meaning of their art. I've purchased many books throughout my years in school and this is definitely one I plan on keeping. Its interest goes further than just choosing a courses on a required list of course to take, but in terms of design it might be tedious, but when designing with this book in mind, attention is put into every detail.
