Q: What's the difference between this charger and the samsung 45w travel charger?

It is NOT the same as someone answered. This is the latest 2.0 version model number EP-T4510XBEGGB . It charges much faster than the old 45W version - model number TA845XBEGGB. I own both. Samsung have a 25W super fast charger. They were receiving complaints that the 45W model didn't charge any faster. So they released this 2.0 version to address those complaints. I can recommend the charger - it's lightening quick. Although the charger is backward compatible to work with any Samsung device you will only see a difference in charging speeds if your device is 45W compatible - for example, S22+, S22 Ultra, all the Tab S8 series etc. If you use it with an old S9 or the regular S22 for example you won't see a difference in charging speeds.

Q: Can someone confirm that this is definitely a genuine Samsung superfast charger and not some copy?

Mine is genuine. Samsung packaging and not a dubious clear bag like some reviews have shown. I waited till Amazon had fresh stock as I wasn't risking the other sellers (who coincidently marked the price up). I paid £12.99. My S21 Ultra charges in an hour now to full. (My old Huawei charger was doing it in 2 hours. Which I was putting up with till Amazon got fresh stock. Rather wait double the time to charge than use a fake and risk overheating ect.)

If it's got the USB C connection ( which I'm almost certain it has) then yes it will

Yes I just double checked on my S21 ultra and plugged in its saying its on superfast charge.
