I purchased this flask for my husband for Christmas and he loves it and not because I gave it to him, but because he now has a flask (something he has always wanted). I purchased the black matte one. But before I let him put it to use, I washed it by hand and allowed it to air dry. The only tricky part during that wash (and the ones after this) was that the top was flimsy, it almost seemed as if it would break but it didn't. So I would advise washing by hand and being extremely careful as far as the top seal part. He has used this more than once and I have washed it more than once so its not damaged just yet, but be careful with it. I would say to the seller/ company, if you could please use a stronger screw or joint (whatever you use to attach the top to the actual flask) that would be awesome and I would buy again, maybe one for myself. The bottom is not flat so it doesn’t stand up on its own. Couple that with the fact that the funnel seals the air so the liquid doesn’t flow into the flask. I have to fill the funnel then lift it slightly to drop the liquid. On the plus side it doesn’t leak so once it’s full and in my pocket it works just fine.
