The Complete Reloading Manual for the 7.62 x 54 Russian Paperback – January 1, 1997

As I mentioned, fast delivery, product was as described and in perfect condition. My only complaint, which is not the fault of the Amazon seller, is that this manual did not seem to have all the "extra" load data that the other books from loadbooks do. I mean that the 30-06 load book has 100s of loads using cast bullets of dozens of sizes, gallery loads using pistol powders etc. The 7.62X54R book has minimal load data....about what the Lee dies I bought came with....no new stuff in it either, No Trailboss data, none of the new powders out there that are in all the other loadbooks

I own Loadbooks for about 20 other ciders. I rely on them every week.. This one for 7.62x54r is very disappointing. It was of no use to me. It lists exactly 2 loads utilizing jacketed bullets of the proper diameter shared by 90% of the examples of this rifle to be found. There are also 2 cast bullet loads also listed. Most of the loads listed feature .308 diameter bullets, which while they can be used, would hardly be examples anyone truly interested in this rifle enough to by this book would interested in. There are plenty of bullets on the market of the proper diameter available, just not from the manufactures usually covered by Loadbooks. A great resource could have been provided here, as Loadbooks has for countless other calibers. But, in short, they mailed it in on this one and this volume is of no value.

it missing ALOT of load data. specifically for cast bullets and theres a section for lyman but theres no data... oh well...
