Nice language learners set
This set of flashcards has high quality photos on one side and words in clearly legible font on the reverse side for language learning in English. It's a good set with an excellent range of basic vocabulary. The cards will eventually need to be laminated as the card stock used is quite light - otherwise it's an excellent set well worth buying.

Good material. Easy to understand. Easy to swaping. Brilliant product!
What I prefer these card than others brand is two-sided separately between pictures and the words. It help the baby remember and understand things easier . Somewhere else doing both pictures and the word explain on same side which is making more confuse and too much information. Finally I'm glad because there are so many topic to talk and learn about.

Just what I was looking for
I bought this set to use with my ESOL class. So far I've only used the verb set. Activity was charades, with the students miming what was on their cards for present continuous. Students loved the exercise, and would have kept going if it wasn't near the end of class. Elicited 3 sentences for each turn: I am.... He/she is.... and then using the persons name. Will really enjoy using the rest in future lessons

High quality set of flash cards. A good teaching aid.
This is a huge and very well made set of flash cards covering multiple topics. The cards themselves come in a fairly sturdy thick card storage box and are categorised by type; go togethers, emotions, opposites, verbs and prepositions. You receive 320 double sided cards with each card being roughy twice the size of that of a standard playing card albeit but a bit thicker. Images are extremely well printed with bold colours and crisp and sharp definition. As a teaching aid I can see multiple uses for these and they would be a invaluable tool if you are looking to invest in your child’s education or have a child that has special educational needs. Each card has an image printed on one side and the descriptive or stated object word on the rear. I have shown a couple of examples in the picture uploads. My 3 year old has thoroughly enjoyed playing with this set over the last few weeks and although he cannot read longer texts yet he is clearly picking things up from them including letter recognition and cognitive understanding such as more/less, happy/sad. It’s great to see him learning and reacting positively when he picks up on visual clues derived from such great imagery.Overall a very good set. My only slight criticism would be the price point. At £55 (at time of writing) I feel it’s a little on the higher end of the scale. I feel if this set were priced a little lower, say around £40 a lot more people may consider investing. I am certainly very pleased and impressed with what I have seen though so if you are on the fence because of price then I would recommend jumping in as you won’t regret it.

Good Quality
Good Quality cards, they are expensive but they are very good. Lots of verbs etc covered, been using them with my child to develop his language. They come with cards suggesting how to use them which is very helpful.

Super quality photocards for teaching and learning
Picture My Picture produce a range of flashcards to support teaching and learning. Our set states made in Hong Kong for Picture My Picture company in Melbourne Australia, they are also available in the USA. The language used does not seem to have any Australian or USA bias though, the English spellings are the ones we would use in the UK for all the cards I have looked at. The flashcards are twice the size of a playing card, glossy, colourful and durable - photo on one side, word printed on the other, excellent quality. This set of 320 cards comes in a sturdy storage box with dividers for each category. The Language Library contains a set of Category cards (such as animals, furniture); a Go Togethers set to pair up eg bread and toaster; Emotions shown on range of faces eg 4 x happy faces, 4 x sad ; Opposites such as clean boots/muddy boots; Prepositions eg a bird shown in a cage, on top, next to; and finally Verbs showing a wide range of actions such as cleaning your teeth, drinking water. Each section comes with instruction cards giving ideas for use and differentiation. The best thing about these cards as a teaching aid is that they are very attractive to children and can be used in many different ways. They would be a great asset in any classroom for use in speech therapy, small group interventions, to stimulate verbal communication, for any children who benefit from visual cues such as those on the ASD spectrum, for teaching English as a second language, to support project work or simply as discussion and conversation starters. The photos feature modern pictures of people from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds and of varying ages, to which a diverse range of students can relate. There is lots of further information on the Picture My Picture site including video clips of the cards in use. My wife is a Governor at a school that has an ASD Unit where they are being used very successfully. A range of boxed sets is available, this one is the most expensive at just under £50 but as it covers 6 different sets it makes a very useful central resource.
