Q: Can you use regular water? Our floors can’t take any chemicals on them.

I use Distilled Water and it cleans the floors great!

Q: i have no serial # on the product to register the product should be on the back but it is not there any answers ?

I had the same trouble finding the serial and model number when working with Bissell customer service. Remove the dry dirt/debris receptacle and it's under there.

Q: How does this scrub the hard floors, with bristles?

No it does not have bristles. It has soft cleaning cloth that you can remove and wash. It does work well since the cleaning solution comes out warm and is steamed cleaning the floor.
