Q: What are these blades coated with?

There is no indication on the packaging that these are coated. I've read some posts on forums that claim they are, but don't specify. I would venture to guess that they are not coated. They are, however, one of the best blades that I've used. I purchased 100 and am very pleased with them.

Q: why does it say made in Russia on one side of the package and yet it it also has mid eastern writing on the other side of the package & on the boxes ?

That’s just how complicated their business is they last say South Africa. They are made in Russia and they are great blades.

Q: Where are they made? Some say Russia, but I figured they were sanctioned.

Mine say Russia as the place of manufacture, not sure as now as the last time I ordered was over 2 years ago. I had good luck with them though, stayed sharper longer than most I’ve used.

Q: Are these good for everday shaving?

Didn't work for me

Blades are subjective...certain brands work for some and not for others Depending on several factors. This one didn't work for me at all. I found it dull and giving me a fairly rough uncomfortable shave. Actually the Gillette 7 o clock green worked better for me although a lot of reviews suggest that the yellow is the better one. Again...it's subjective and for each individual to decide.
