Smooth
Had it for quite a while now and even with daily gaming use it’s been good I also like how the lighting is minimal and how u can customise it to your liking in the software. It’s also lightweight so with a mouse pad it moves smoothly as u drag your mouse.

Good mouse - longterm issues
This was my first "gamer" mouse. Its really light in compare to your every day office mouse or well not "gamer" mouses. I love the lowkey RGB at the mouse wheel. iCUE (the software in which you can set up RGB and syncing with other Corsair devices for RGB modes, etc.) its an overall 8/10 it can be bothersome but most of the time you will forget it even exists.Setting different DPI settings and switching them with a button is extremely powerful and also de side buttons made my experience overall when gaming and using my pc. I do recommend side buttons if you havent tried them before. The ONLY thing I got to complain is the fact that after a while. 2 years tops the mouse wheel is squeaky. ITs horrible, if you scroll down its going to squeak like a mf. Also It has started jumping a bit (scrolling up and down) because of presence of maybe dust (that might actually be my environment but still). The longevity of the scroll wheel might be an issue for everyone.I am rating it 4/5 because for a starter gamer mouse it gives you all the perks and solid RGB and DPI settings and actually being lightweight. Powerful mouse but I really hate and worry about that squeaky mouse wheel everyday...

Better than expected for the price
I honestly feel like the advertising kind of undersold how good it is for a $30 mouse. It's a little smaller in height and width than my old G403 (which I personally like) but being a fingertip grip player it is actually a decent amount more comfortable than the G403 was and the light weight is really nice. The cord is really loose/light to the feel which might make it less durable over the long-term but makes it easier to maneuver compared to a stiffer cord. The best thing about this mouse for me though is the iCUE software for it, you can disable the side buttons (forward/back button) functionality completely or reassign them. Personally a big deal for me because I would constantly hit them accidently on my old mouse & caused a bunch of issues. The DPI buttons 3 stages can be custom set and disabled to just have 1, 2, or 3 stages which is nice since I prefer a higher DPI for gaming vs scrolling the web.Lastly it can be calibrated to the surface you use it on (I don't use mouse pads) so that it works more efficiently on that surface.Only thing I can say at this point that I think they could've done better on would be some rubber on the sides for a softer grip feel. Overall the mouse texture doesn't feel bad but definitely something I'd be willing to pay a little more money for.(will update later on with durability/longevity as any issues arise)

Let's see if it holds up as long as my other Corsair peripherals
This is a fine mouse. It does what I need it to do, and nothing more. I don't like or want a ton of macro buttons, and this only has two - which is perfect. The weight is about the same as my old Logitech equivalent. I used the Logitech mouse for over 6 years, replacing only because I had gotten acetone on the top of it and it took off the soft touch plastic coating, and started looking ratty. However, all of my other peripherals are Corsair, and they've lasted me just as long. I am a big fan of Corsair. My keyboard & headset will not die - they've long outlived my boyfriend's keyboard and headset. I play FPS games, casual games, farming games, 3d world RPGs.. I play computer games every day. I also work from home. Considering how often these items are in use, I'm very happy with the quality and dependability of the Corsair products I have. I have no doubts for this mouse to follow suit.

Mouse fails within warranty, replacement is broken out of the box
I really liked this mouse for the first 11 months of ownership, until the scrollwheel failed to read up and down scrolls correctly. I went through the RMA process with Corsair, and was issued a seemingly new mouse, new serial, new inserts and everything. Out of the box, the middle click on the scroll wheel is poor. It jams in the down position consistently.iCUE is Corsairs mandatory mouse software, allows you to control settings and lighting effects. It simply does not work. Fails to launch with my OS consistently, so my sensitivity is wrong until I reboot. The lighting profiles don't work at all, the mouse is capable of RBG but only ever displays a solid red color. The lack of functionality means that the features advertised to you will not work or be available. Please beware when buying this product that the configuration software does not work as advertised.
