simple replacement
The battery comes with pictures with directions of all variations of the power stations. Make sure you know the model and which picture has the proper location of the screws of your unit. You just have to remove two screws and slide of the faced plate of the unit and then the battery slides out with very little play of the internal clip wires. Just unclip the battery and align the new battery and slide the clips on and then slide the battery into the pocket and replaced the face plate. NOTE, the battery is for other units two and with slight variation of a letter makes the picture where the screws are your choice of the directions to do this simple procedure. I charges up in one day and fully functional.

Drop-In Replacement for the CyberPower CP1350PFCLCD PFC
I purchased a CyberPower CP1350PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS System, 1350VA/880W, 12 Outlets, AVR, Mini-Tower in 2019.Its two 12v 7Ah sealed lead acid batteries died in late 2024.(Strangest thing: with the batteries dead, if I tried to print to my Brother laser printer, though it was plugged into the wall, not the UPS, the computer would crash like there was a power failure. After taking the UPS out of the circuit and plugging the computer directly into the wall, the printer and desktop computer worked fine.)This CyberPower RB1270X2A UPS Replacement Battery Cartridge, Maintenance-Free, User Installable, 12V/7Ah,Black, 2.75 x 7.08 x 4.17 inches battery set is a direct drop-in replacement. The only problem is that the original LCD display has dimmed so badly that I can't really read it anymore. Hopefully the backup capability is still operational.

Back to loving my UPS after a quick battery swap
Every time the power flickers here in FL I love my UPS a tiny bit more. Recently; however, my ups started to cut power to my PC. Knowing that the UPS routinely conditions the battery by charging and discharging I figured that a dead battery could cause these symptoms. Life expectancy ranges of 3-4 years for the battery by the company strengthened my suspicion that the almost 5 year old UPS was just needing a replacement. The package came with instructions to access and replace the battery for a bunch of different models, including mine and the process was straight forward. For my unit it took two screws and removing/replacing a few slip on wire connectors. It took a second to get the battery all the way back in to it's compartment before screwing the cover back on, but it wasn't very difficult. UPS is back to working great with a complete end to the regular power loss I was experiencing and once again keeps the PC running when the power goes out.My biggest takeaway from this for me is that a UPS designed to keep power stable can actually have the opposite effect when the battery gets to the end of it's life.

Make sure that it's the correct battery pack for your UPS.
The most important thing to notice when ordering a replacement battery pack is that you insure that you are obtaining the correct battery pack for your CyberPower UPS. Sounds silly, I'm sure, but there are so many different CyberPower models that you could easily order the first battery pack you see in your search results. Fortunately, the product description specifies the CyberPower model number for which the battery pack is designed in CAPITAL LETTERS.Fortunately, I realized this in my searching, as the first results would have been incorrect, even though I had used the UPS model number in the search inquiry. It may take me longer to type this review than it took to actually replace the battery pack. An instruction sheet is included; you just have to look for your model number. In my case, the CP1350PFCLCD, removing two screws on the bottom of the case and sliding off the front cover provided easy access to the battery compartment. The battery pack has a pull tab, and it slides out easily. It is a very simple operation to connect the new battery pack, slide it into the case and reinstall the front cover. CyberPower's design makes it very difficult for you to mess up this procedure. Then you are back in business. My battery arrived with about an 80% charge, so I was able to successfully conduct the self test.

Actual 7AH batteries for the 1350PFCLCD
Still contains a pair of BB Battery CPS7-12 7AH batteries. Most other batteries in this form factor are 5 or 5.5AH.Installation is reasonably simple; there are two screws under the front panel; the front panel pulls away and the batteries can be accessed. Sometimes the old batteries swell and need a bit of persuasion to be removed. These are about 30% to 50% more expensive after considering shipping than the generic lower AH alternatives. They also have 40% more AH. Thus the price isn't awful considering they last 3-5 years. The 1350PFCLCD seems to have a poor battery test. I've had two sets of batteries fail in the last 8 years and neither time the "change battery" light came on. Instead, it simply dropped dead from the slightest power glitch. Replacing the batteries restores normal functionality.
