Amazing stuff! This product offers a light, touchable hold, it reminds me of a super light leave-in conditioner. I apply it when my hair is wet/damp and let my hair air dry, my curls come out shiny, defined, and touchable. For more control while keeping the soft quality, I recommend adding a bit of gel or frizz serum. I have low porosity, fine, frizzy curly hair with Shirley Temple-like curls, and I love how lightweight and moisturizing this product is. The scent is neutral and doesn't bother me. I prefer lighter hold products that don't make my curls feel crunchy or heavy, so this works perfectly for me.

this jelly smells amazing and does help curl the hair, but a veryyy small amount does the trick. it’s easy to apply too much into non-textured hair, which can cause the hair to feel crunchy and heavy. those with curly but thinner hair should be very careful. i use a dime sized amount of the product with my diffuser and my hair turns out great!

This gel not only smells great but it WORKS! I have naturally curly hair and for a few years i would straighten my hair and damaged my natural curls. I stopped using Walmart cheap brand hair gel and shampoo and started using the Kristen Ess curly hair line and after just a few months my curls were back to they're normal curl! This gel helps moisturize without being heavy in your hair. It also doesn't make your hair crunchy or wet looking like other curly hair gels do.

The best curl gel I’ve tried. My curls get so defined and non-frizzy! My hair is fine so it tangles and gets frizzy easily, but not with this product. Apply a generous amount right after washing and detangling in the shower. I use plumping hair towel and let air dry, results amazing even in between washes.Review update to include picture and add that the picture was taken day 3 post-wash day. I only used the Kristin Ess “Curl define Jelly” the wash day after using the Cake mousse. I apply the curl define jelly right before plopping my hair (basically letting it sit with the hair towel for about 15 minutes). I just let air dry after that and the curls turn out great! I use the Kristin Ess curl leave in cream on day 2 or 3 if I see a little frizz.Kristin Ess products smell amazing! I see the curl jelly is unavailable now, I haven’t found it at Target anymore, I hope it’s not getting discontinued!

If you just want something to put in your hair to let it air dry, this is not it. This stuff is great if you do all the finger curling, plopping and pumping everytime you use it out of the shower. If you just wanna be lazy and let your hair airdrop, this makes the curls SO stringy. It smells really good. I don't notice any more shine than normal but it does make my hair soft

OBSESSED. Perfect lightweight gel for my curly/wavy hair. I love Kristen Ess products but this is a miracle. The pump also locks which makes it great for traveling!

This is my second time purchasing this product! I have 3b and 3c curls. It defines them without weighing them down. I love the smell too, once it dries it's a lot less fragrant but it makes for a pleasant time styling. I definitely recommend!
