I absolutely love this keyboard!! I wanted a new keyboard for work. I tried a version of this keyboard at a physical store, and fell in love with how the typing felt. But they only had wireless/with a mouse (neither of which I needed for work - love wireless keyboards at home, but not for this purpose. And I already had a mouse I liked). I finally found this wired version - I love it so much! Typing feels fantastic, the size is perfect for my desk, and it looks really great! If you like this style of keys, I would get this keyboard

I use this keyboard for gaming and for Solidworks and it’s great. I love how sleek and quiet it is. Does exactly what you want to do and does it well. I love cherry products in general and this is no different.

I like the quiet and soft touch to this keyboard. I wish it had the flip down legs on the back so you could elevate the keyboard so it doesn’t lag flat. Otherwise, I am enjoying the functionality of this keyboard.

I am a keyboard junkie; a computer programmer by trade, and I'm typing all day. I only like full size keyboards (the kind with the arrow keys in their own separate "column" between the main keyboard and the numeric keyboard), and my favorite so far is the old wired Apple keyboards (even though I use them on PCs). I prefer wired for the keyboard because they just sit on the desk, and while I don't like wires all over the place, I also don't like having to replace batteries or charging - particularly if I'm involved in a meeting or something where it becomes a problem.However, those Apple keyboards are hard to find, expensive online, and while I can sometimes "dumpster dive" for one where I work, they are becoming more rare.So I look for something similar I can get for PCs, but the best keyboards can be ridiculously expensive. I found this while perusing the "Cherry Store" at Amazon, and thought a "chicklet" style mechanical keyboard for this price was too good to pass by.I'm not disappointed. I've only been using it for a few days, over the weekend for personal stuff, but will be using it for my programming job (and will update if my opinion changes). The action on the mechanical keys is awesome - it's like typing on the Apple keyboard, but better. They keys themselves have a more tactile finish; they are not as "smooth" as the Apple keyboard, but that's a plus in my opinion. The action on the keys is far better than the Apple keyboard. They key layout is pretty standard, so I have no period of adjustment to get accustomed to when typing.It's not that nice brushed aluminum that I like, but the plastic casing, again, is not "smooth," and has a very nice appearance. There were a couple of spots, out of the box, where it was dirty, but I cleaned it up with a wipe, and it looks perfect, now.The caps-lock, scroll-lock, and num-lock keys have built in lights, as opposed to the lights on the top right of a lot of keyboards to indicate lock keys. I like that. The printing on the keys is fairly large and clear, which is good.There are a few non-standard buttons (they may be common, but not "standard"), like a Web button, a Calculator button, volume up/down and mute. These all worked out of the box for me on Windows 10. There are also Windows keys, and a context menu key (as if you did a right-click). Don't know why I'd need a context menu key, but there it is; not like it's detrimental.I've seen a lot of questions on Amazon while searching for keyboards about whether or not there is a print-screen key and, yes, there is.So, there are a couple of down sides. The biggest negative about this keyboard is lack of a tilt adjustment - there are no feet to lift up so that the keyboard can get a steeper angle. To be fair, the Apple keyboard doesn't, either, but the Apple keyboard sits at a slightly (very slightly) bigger angle. It would be nice to adjust, even a little bit.Lastly, and this is very minor (and maybe I can disable it), there is a "lock" key that will put Windows 10 to the lock screen, you need to re-enter your password or PIN again. For my personal laptop it's not a big deal, but for my work laptops logging in again is a pain.All in all a very nice keyboard - will probably use it over the Apple keyboard, and will likely get a couple more (one for my wife, and I have my one system, but a couple of work systems I use at home).Edit: 12/10/2023 - so I've had this for a while and have been really happy with it, but lately the "2" on the numeric keypad only triggers about half the time. As a touch typist who is functional on the keypad, that's a huge problem for me. It's not like I've typed an excessive number of 2s, either. Everything else still seems fine, so dropping one star.

This keyboard is sturdy with nice weight to keep it from sliding or bending, but is also slim and has excellent key press action. If you like flat chicklet style keyboards this is one of the best out there and my personal favorite.

So, I like the feel of a mechanical board but can’t type as well on them. This is basically an apple keyboard with better switches. It has glue on feet to provide some angle. Not any louder than a membrane keyboard with some age. I’ll buy another one for work.

Satisfied with quality

This keyboard has a solid construction and well-placed keys, I've been using it as my primary keyboard while coding and feel no fatigue using it - it stays out of the way and I barely notice it's there. Typing feels good, the keys respond smoothly without any hiccups. It looks quite nice as well, and I love the Cherry logo on the board. I rarely use a 110 key board, but wanted to give it a try again since I'm finding myself missing a few of the extra keys you get.I'm not a huge fan of the permanently attached cable, and the DIY aspect of attaching the standoffs was odd. But, these minor drawbacks are easily overshadowed by the keyboard's overall performance and build quality. The keyboard is clearly not designed for gaming but I casually jump on Call of Duty rounds with a few friends and it worked fine. Would be okay for any casual gamer.For anyone seeking a reliable and sleek typing experience, the Cherry KC 6000 Slim Keyboard is a standout choice.
