The book also offers all of the letters and conversations from the original Brother Lawrence compilation.

This book has drawn me closer to God. It causes me to stop and consider my view of God in the midst of suffering. Learning to redirect my prayers to truly be His will. Understanding that seeking relief is not as important as seeking God's presence. Knowing God loves us with an everlasting love.

Of the forty daily devotions, I found many to be inspiring and thought provocative. This book is taken from letters written over 300 years ago and they are still relevant today.

Ver easy read for me. I've listened to the audio book before purchasing and really needed a copy on my shelf.

Every few years i looked to read Brother Lawrence's book. Several have published then asking with their own thoughts. But i really appreciate this book of devotions.I led me step-by-step to learn how to Practice God's Presence.
